im so freaking nervous, usually im chill when it comes to these but for some reason this made me very nervous. i huffed out air and tried to calm myself and the girls at my back are not doing a good job in calming me.
"we will surely get in! i mean look at everyone here they all look weak." a girl said behind me while her other friends laughed in agreement, i scoffed because of their cockiness. unfortunately my scoff was loud and i could feel them rolling their eyes and glaring at me. i didn't bother to look at them so i shrugged it off and set my mind on the audition.
minjae unnie went somewhere, i think she went inside the audition room. she has to do something so its okay.
i strummed mark's guitar a few times and realised how pretty his guitar actually is. it looks expensive and gives a good sound which made me happy because i love instruments. i slung the guitar around me and continued to wait in line.
the girls at my back kept talking and bragging about there so called talents, well i shouldn't judge but their cockiness is kinda blinding me.
the line has now shortened and now it's time for me to get in the room.
"only 10 people can go inside the rest will have to wait." a guy instructed and the ten of us went in the room.
the room is big and there are cameras and mirrors everywhere, like a dance practice room. the judges table is far from us, they look intimidating and watched us with piercing eyes. i gulped and stand in front with the rest. the girls earlier were now by my side, i didn't bother to look at them but it's good to know that they're silent now.
the five judges stared at us when suddenly one of them greeted us with a slight smile. they introduced themselves one by one, two if them are vocal coaches, one is a dance instructor, one is a rapper of some sort while the one who greeted us is a well respected person or director in the department, probably a talent scout or something.
i was number 7 and also a batch 7, it's a lucky number so i hope i'll be lucky on this. the numbers we have are scrambled but i was actually the fourth in the line.
the auditions started, the first person is a petite girl with a cute eye smile. she introduced herself and surprisingly she is very young, she is 15 which doesn't explains why she's short, puberty hasn't touched her yet so she's quite baby faced. she sang fine by taeyon and her voice is very nice, her voice is high, stable and very cute, quite opposite with fine cause the feel is kind of mature but either way she did a good job.
the vocal coaches seemed to be impressed and smiled while clapping and giving her compliments and tips.
"your performance is nice suri-ah, your voice is stable and your pitch is pretty high but it would've been better if you picked a song that will match your voice but still great performance!" then the coach clapped while the small girl smiled and thanked her.
"would you mind showing us a dance?" the dance instructor asked while the others agreed.
she seemed a bit taken a back and nervously nod.
the instructor cued the music and the song is shape of you, she circled, trying to match with the beat and danced, she's cute while dancing but not really amazing at it, she can dance but her singing is more excellent. the coach stopped the song and nodded, a bit disappointed while the girl nervously shuffled.
"you can dance but it needs more practice." the coach said while she nodded smiling slightly.
"thank you suri-ah you may now proceed at the back." the the director said while she nodded thanking them and slowly went back to our place.
