i finished the song with the last strum and opened my eyes.
i can see the judges smiling while clapping. the director stood while still clapping. i also stood up from the stool and bowed while saying my thanks.
"excellent performance fer!" the director exclaimed which made me laugh because of the way she pronounced my name. she sat down again while discussing with the other judges.
"can you dance?" she asked again. i smiled and nodded. i took off the guitar carefully and placed it at the side.
i've experienced dancing before. i did ballet and gymnastics at a young age because duh every girl and parent back then wanted ballet. my mom decided for me to practice ballet and so i did. i stopped around when i was 13 because my taste in genre kind of changed. i did hiphop and tons of other styles but i was still practicing my ballet here and there. around last year i developed an interest in b-boying and shuffling. i know weird for a girl to b boy but i insisted and im pretty good at it. my dad helped me improve because he is a choreographer and a dance instructor. i dont really know where he works but it changes time to time when someone calls him.
"very well then, drop the music!" the dance instructor said which then played the song 'where are ü now' . its a bit of my taste and its easy to dance to. i nodded my head with the beat trying to get with the flow. i moved a bit and remembered a routine back then. i cant remember much so i decided to do some parts while doing a bit of freestyle. i danced with the song while doing different styles. my hair was all around the place, its a good thing i tied it in a pony tail but it didn't do much. the song continued and never stopped. the song almost ended but i stopped and again the judges clapped.
"daebak! good use of styles and techniques fleur! awesome!" the instructor said in english i bowed again.
"thank you!" i also said in english then they discussed again.
while the rest are discussing the female vocal coach asked me something.
"can you speak english? im just wondering even though you just said thank you." she asked and smiled. i nodded and said that i can.
" oh really? thats great then you can do more english covers!" she said then she joined with the discussion again. they faced me again and i straightened my posture.
"your idol worthy fleur, i hope you luck!" the director said then they all agreed and clapped. i grinned and bowed 90 degrees and thanked them plenty of times. i am happy because the only people who have been complimenting my dancing is both my parents. i didnt bother joining contests and such because i just didnt feel like it.
they told me that i may now go back in line and so i did. i got mark's guitar and went back. a smile is still plastered on my face and i still feel giddy and happy. i went beside jeongmin and high fived him. atleast he knows how to high five.
"wow fur, frur, umm." he stuttered while trying to pronounce my name, i chuckled for the nth time because of him.
"thanks, and its fleur." i said and he nodded while smiling.
the audition continued and the rest are not that amazing but i hope they can achieve their dreams. i felt very tired because were only standing up and because i also danced.
i sighed and continued to watch the performance. the last performance ended shortly then we all listened to what they are about to say.
"thank you everyone for show casing your talents, though some of you still lack, dont worry just keep practicing and may you reach your dreams." the director said which then we all said a thank you.
