Change of Weather

Wind blew slightly stronger somehow. At first I thought it was because we were sneaking in a narrow alley in between two 4 to 6 stories buildings, the place might just have a fierce ground wind but the cloud said otherwise.

There was a sudden change in weather.

The clear blue sky and the hot damp summer wind had turned feisty, with the cloud changing its face to dark with few silent rippling thunder light inside its cotton-like ball. The wind changed into the cold, harsh one that penetrated your bones and carrying cold symptoms. I kept pulling my summer dress down and hold off my hair so that it won't flew up.

"I have a plan," I whispered a bit loudly to Bakugou, trying to compete with the wind's whistle. We both squatted in the back shadow of the two buildings. The villain-- I mean.. thief was busy rummaging the inside of my bag while sitting nicely on top of a metal drum on the other side of the same wall. Our plan to stop chasing him and made him think he was lost from our radar worked perfectly.

I was, obviously, frustrated to the core with the whole mugging thing.

My whole life is in that bag: my id, my apartment's key, my phone, and my entire life savings! I lived alone, I worked my ass off for every five days after school, and I haven't paid this month's rent, electricity and water bills yet. That day was definitely a bad day to get mugged.

Yes! I was well aware that I was playing a dangerous game here, fighting off a mugger who's quirk still unknown but I was willing to forget that detail for the sake of my life continuity.

"First, we have to call the police," I stated the obvious. Bakugou didn't deviate. His serious face was kind of distracting, but I shooed the ridiculous heart thumping thing off my mind. "My plan is to not engage. I repeat, DO NOT engage until the police or a hero come. DO NOT use your quirk in any circumstances unless absolutely necessary because---"

"WHAT?!"

Ah, here we go...

"Sssshhh!!!!" I shushed him in panic. "--Because you are not allowed to use quirks outside of school without permit. You don't want this to forever be written in your records, right?" I stated. Bakugou seemed to be thinking this through. He hated it but he acknowledged that I was right. "All right, now if the thief run---"

A sudden darker shade of shadow towered behind me.

Bakugou's eyes already widen, facing up. He was caught off guard but in a flash, he retracted both his hands from the ground where he used them to balance his sitting position to an attacking stance.

"Ah, it's just a kid~~" whispered a joyful, hoarse voice.  I swiftly turned my body around. A few milliseconds was all I got to recognize the same dark grey jacket and brown hat as the thief that stole my bag before his thin arm, which still carrying my bag, snatched my throat. In a short time, he already held me up, placing a glinting dagger right before my jugular.

The thief backed away from Bakugou in recognition of him. "Ha--Haha, isn't that Bakugou Katsuki of the slime incident?!" his arm tightened as if he was mad, crushing my trachea.

Bakugou clicked his tongue, gritted his teeth. He readied his hand for a blast but he couldn't, because I was in his way.

"Ugh--don't use your quirk, Bakugou-san!!" I warned him. Not because I was afraid that his blast will turned me to ash but because I did't want him to be expelled.

"Are you a fucking idiot?! Look at your situation! Don't fucking tell me what to do!" His hands already filled with small explosions and targeted straight to the thief, well--to us but he hesitated.
