Time flies in the blink of an eye. The Practical Exam day had finally come.
For the Hero classes, unlike the previous years where the practical exam was to fight robots, concurrently they had to face a twist, Students vs Teachers. While for the Business classes was, of course, presentation.
It's like comparing a Michelin star dessert to a sour orange. Not a balance comparison. If this exam televised, people would rather pay to watch only the Hero Exam rather than this unnecessary presentation but this exam was as important to me as the exam was for the Hero class.
The presentation was held together with the entire first year of Business Department (Class I, J, and K) in the Main Hall in which usually used for the cultural festival. About 100 people were sitting there, muttering and chattering as I readied myself to present my work. I peeked from behind the backstage, taking several deep breaths.
"You go on first, Odayaka?" I turned to see the annoying boy standing, leaning his side on the wall behind me, crossing his arms and legs, snickering from nothing. He walked closer and ran his pointer finger over my cheek, "Is that makeup covering your asphalt bed marks?" I slapped his hand lightly. I covered the cheek he ran through while frowning. My face blushed.
"So who are you gonna present today? The Baboon or the double edge sword?" Sachi asked. "See for yourself," I said. Sachi then smiled and pat my shoulder for a real encouragement.
I took a deep breath and let the hesitation out. I worked this for weeks and despite having doubt several times to keep using Katsuki as my subject (not just because of our disputes, but I thought the whole kissing and separation thing might violate the Conflict of Interest), I already went half way through this steep cliff, I couldn't just throw away all my data.
And with the crazy 'older' Katsuki appearance yesterday... my memories were hazy on the last part but it did somehow take a big chunk of doubt away from my chest.
'
I gulped as I stood in the spotlight, stared by hundreds of students and teacher. "My name is Odayaka Mana and I would like to begin my Hero Selling Point Analysis presentation of Bakugou Katsuki," I swallowed my anxiousness and braced myself.
"This is Bakugou Katsuki. Born 20th of April, he is student number 17 of class 1-A. Of course, you all already know him since he was the one representing all of us first years at the Sports Festival by saying 'I'll pledge to be number one'. Back then and probably up until now, there must be some of you who still wanted to just punch him in the face.
Although, he is not just doing lip service. He is, after all, Ranked 1st in U.A Entrance Exam. Ranked 3rd in Aizawa-sensei's Quirk Apprehension Test among other class 1-A students. Ranked 3rd in his class. And as you already know, the Winner of U.A Sports Festival First Year Stage. His school performance alone has formed an extraordinary selling point.
