Christian and I set down all of the blankets and pillows on the ground, and I see that the councilors put up a giant blow up screen right in the middle of the field. I see ten other people so far scattered around the field. I see Ian start to pass out popcorn and eventually he gets to us.

"Well, I didn't know that you two were together."

"Well we are, do you have a problem with that?" asks Christian.

"No,not at all, I just didn't know," Ian gives us some popcorn, and then walks away to another girl.

"Talk about nosy," Christian complains, and I remember when Ian looked through my bag and saw my thongs.

"Tell me about it," I roll my eyes just thinking about Ian.

Thirty minutes later the movie starts and everybody is quiet.

At the part where Hazel and Augustus have sex I feel Christian looking at me and I look back up at him and then give him a playful slap and roll my eyes at him.

Then it gets to a part that's really sad and I start crying my eyes out, and I just can't stop, because every single moment of the movie keeps getting more sad. At the sad parts Christian squeezes my hand and puts it to his mouth and kisses it.

Finally the movie is over and let's just say I am so glad that it's night time so that way nobody can see how red my eyes are from crying and my mascara probably smeared too, however I look at Christian and he looks at me and he hugs me tight. Basically the whole movie reminded me of Christian and I which made me cry even harder especially at the end.

"I'll never leave you," says Christian hugging me. He must've read my mind about how upset the movie made me.

"I'll never leave you either."

Christian says goodnight to me, and then we head back to our cabins.

----------------------------------------------

"Well well well, where have you been?" asks Hannah the moment that I walk in the door.

"With Christian," I say with a smirk. "Why?"

"I knew you would be, you won't be with him for long though."

"You don't scare me Hannah."

"Well I should bitch," she slaps me across the face and I put my hand to my cheek and just stare at her, and then down at my hand and I see that it's red from blood. "There, now I'll check back later and see if I still don't scare you."

I go to the bathroom and wash off my cheek and brush my teeth and do everything else. Damn that girl is strong, yeah strong enough to leave a bruise on my cheek. I can't let anyone see it, I don't want questions.

Once I'm done getting ready for bed, I hop into the bottom bunk and as soon as I know it I'm out.

---------------------------------------------

I hear the councilor say that it's time to get up hallelujah, it's monday. I feel my cheek and it hurts to even slightly touch it. God dammit Hannah, why'd you have to slap my face why not my arm or leg or anything else besides my face? I slip on my shorts and a fresh clean tshirt, and then I put on some concealer to cover up my bruise, and head out the door.

Today we're starting beach volleyball and sandcastle building.

"Are you ready for this week," asks Christian.

"Yeah, of course our team's going to kick ass," I wink.

"Alright everyone listen up," shouts Ian. "First we're gonna start with sandcastle building. All of the tools and items that you need are by your team's station for the first four days, but once it's friday, then that's a different story. The real competition is Friday and today through Thursday are practice rounds. When I say go. On your marks get set go!"

Everybody rushes towards their spot and starts running towards the ocean to get wet sand in the buckets. There's an assortment of small buckets big buckets and shapes. I feel like a little kid again. I look up and see another girl from our team running back towards the water for more damp sand. The salty water is stinging my eyes so I turn back towards the rest of my group and help them start building again.

Ten minutes later I hear Ian blow his whistle. "Alright everybody stop and let go of any materials! Thank you now every day, we'll pick the team that has the best sand castle and everybody on the team will get a ribbon once again until Friday where the trophy comes in again."

Everybody chants and yells. and I hear a girl yell out "Who's the winner?"

Ian scans through all of the sand castles. "The winner is, the pink team!" Everyboy from the pink team yells at the top of their lungs while the ribbons are being distributed. "Now go back up to your cabins and change into something more comfier and then meet me back right here in this spot."

We all run towards our cabins, I get on my bikini and put my jogging shorts on over them and a muscle tshirt that says Cali life. Everyone meets back out there again dressed in comfier clothing.

"Alright, now it's time for beach volleyball practice and scrimmages. We're going to be taking almost the whole day working on this. I'm gonna put you all with other teams when we do scrimmages, but for right now I'm going to assign different councilors to each color." Ian assigns all of the councilors and we end up getting him, lucky us.

"Okay, who has played volleyball before?" All but a few of us raise our hands, there were two boys. "Okay, then I'm gonna touch on some basic things." Ian shows us how to bump the ball to each other and how to get low.

Christian and I got paired up yet again, I don't understand how this keeps happening, but I don't mind it. So Christian and I bump the ball to each other back and forth and barely drop it the whole time. I look up since it got dark and storm clouds appear, apparently there's lightning so they're making us go inside for now.

I tell Christian I'm gonna head back up to my cabin and then we just stare at each other in the rain. The water is falling off of his blonde hair and he looks like he's about to kiss me. God I want him to kiss me so badly and I want to kiss him, he starts leaning in and I close my eyes, but then I hear my name being called from girls in my cabin.

 "I gotta go," I say.
