All day there had been a storm brewing in the air. The sky had been dark and heavy black clouds hung in the sky. It was about 6pm and Thomas, Patton, Roman and Virgil were getting dinner ready. Each one was helping to cook it. Most of the food was done by the time the first deep rumbles of thunder sounded in the distance.

Thomas looked out of the window and sighed. "Raining." He mumbled, watching the large water droplets fall and hit the pavement, whilst also bouncing off windowsills. "Why can't it be nice all the time?"

Patton went over and leaned on Thomas' shoulder. "Because if we didn't have rain we wouldn't appreciate the sun! Plus you always get a beautiful rainbow afterwards. You like rainbows, don't ya?"

Thomas nodded. "Of course I do! It's what I am all the time, I have to like them." He chuckled.

Virgil rolled his eyes. "Oh, someone get me a bucket." He said with a grimace, sitting down at the table, his arms crossed.

Roman gave Virgil a side glance. "Stop being so negative Hot Topic." He said.

Virgil looked at him with a huff.

Patton stood in between the pair. "Now, now guys, don't fight. We don't wanna bring the atmosphere down anymore." He said.

Thomas began to lay the table and put the food out, setting the places for all of the sides. He frowned and looked around the kitchen. "Where's Logan?" He asked, looking to Patton.

Patton frowned and shook his head. "I don't know. He's probably in his room reading. I'm sure he'll be down in a minute."

Roman went to the foot of the stairs and called up. "Logan, dinner!"

All of them then sat down and began to eat their food, but Logan was nowhere to be seen and the thunderstorm was only getting worse.

LOGAN'S ROOM

_

Logan was in his room, lying under the blankets, holding them over his head. He was shaking in fear as a bright flash of lightning flooded the room followed by a loud crash of thunder. He squeaked out slightly and closed his eyes tightly.

Logan had a massive fear of thunderstorms. He found them to be too loud and too random for him to make any sense of. He didn't like things that he couldn't understand and that meant that he hated thunderstorms. No one knew of his fear because he didn't want to appear weak in any way. It would be quite ridiculous if the most logical one of them all was afraid of something as trivial as the weather, which can be explained by low and high pressure.

Of course he had heard Roman's call for dinner, and he was very hungry, but with the storm raging outside he was too afraid to move from his spot.

Thomas and the others were all clearing their plates away, washing them up. Patton frowned as he realised that Logan hadn't come down. "Hey guys, I'm going to check on Logan." He said, pulling his cardigan tighter around his neck.

He stood up from the dinner table and made his way upstairs to Logan's room, knocking the door. "Logan, can I come in?" He asked quietly.

Logan froze up as he heard Patton's voice through the door. "Uh... Y-Yes..." He replied softly.

Patton walked inside gingerly, looking over at the bed, seeing Logan's form under the blankets curled up. He made his way to the bed and pulled back the covers. "Hey what's wrong Logan? Do you feel unwell?"
