America's POV:

I was about to sing when my eyes met with a pair of chocolate ones... It was Maxon.
He wore an awe expression. My heart stopped for a second. Part of me wanted to run up to him... But the other part of me new better, he was with Kriss, he chose Kriss. The music started and I knew I had to sing soon I scanned the room and then I looked at Maxon again wanting him to know these songs were for him.

Maxon's POV:
As I saw America I felt a spark in my chest, I made my way closer to the stage as the music started. Right before she started singing she looked at me as if telling me something. And she started....
1st song America is singing: New Romantics by Taylor swift

"We're all bored, we're all so tired of everything , We wait for trains that just aren't coming..." By the way she looked at me I could tell the song was directed to me, and basing on the lyrics she probably still hated me.

"We're so young but we're on the road to ruin, We play dumb but we know exactly what we're doing, We cry tears of mascara in the bathroom.." I hated to hear that she suffered so much.

Almost everyone in the room was singing the song, like they knew the song by heart, but what caught my attention was that Celeste and Marlee were glaring at me with eyes of hater, I had to admit it was kind of scary.

"Cause, baby, I could build a castle out of all the bricks they threw at me, And every day is like a battle but every night with us is like a dream.." Even though the song was meant for me which really wasn't a good thing, I couldn't help but notice how angelic her voice was.

"Baby, we're the New Romantics, Come on, come along with me, Heart break is the national anthem we sing it proudly." then when the song came to an end she finished with a "The best people in life are free." Gosh how I missed her so much, I was an idiot for letting her go.

I made my way closer to her but was stopped when I saw she was about sing another song. I guess I had to wait. And then I thought ... would this song be for me too? Would that be a good thing... And with that she started...

Second/ last song that America sings: RED by: Taylor swift

"Loving him is like driving a new Maserati down a dead-end street, faster than the wind, passionate as sin, ending so suddenly." She sang with such a passion, she was still looking at me and I wanted to think she was singing about me.

"Losing him was blue like I'd never known, Missing him was dark grey all alone, Forgetting him was like trying to know somebody you never met, But loving him was red."

As she sang that verse I noticed that what the lyrics said was exactly how I felt about America... Could it be? did she feel that too? " Touching him was like realizing all you ever wanted was right there in front of you, Memorizing him was as easy as knowing all the words to your old favorite song." Once again just how I felt about her.

"Fighting with him was like trying to solve a crossword and realizing there's no right answer." I chuckled at that, remembering those fights that I used to have with America, gosh how I missed them so much. I could tell a smile was forming on her face. "Remembering him comes in flashbacks and echoes, Tell myself it's time now, gotta let go, But moving on from him is impossible,When I still see it all in my head, In burning red."

Suddenly America had tears in the corners of her eyes but that didn't stop her. I felt the same thing. "cause loving him was red" after that she finished. America wiped the tears of her beautiful face and went backstage.

That's when in idea popped in my head, I needed to show her how much I missed and loved her, and I thought that my first attempt would be singing my feelings out, just like she did, but first I needed help so I went to ask Marlee.
