Amani and I gather Adalia and Kaisen and put them in the baby swings.
"You've been seeming sad lately," I said as we gently pushed the kids on the swings.
"I'm fine," she says and looks down.
"Look, I know what a person looks like when they're sad," I sorta shout.
"I said I'm fine," she mutters.
"Well, let's take the kids to mom's." I say and gather the babies and put them into the car.
~At mom's house~
"Hey mom," I smile as I walk through the door with Adalia and Kaisen on each of my arms.
"Hello darling," she says in her quiet gentle voice and hugs me. "Oh you brought Amani."
"Hi mommy," she says and walks inside.
"They're just getting bigger and bigger every time I see them," my mom says. She's wearing a white plain T-shirt, jeans and black sandals that had a strap around her ankle. Her blonde hair was in loose curls. She reminded me so much of Amani.
"And crazier and wilder," I laugh. My mom laughs along with me.
"Do any of of you want anything to drink? Or eat?" my mom states walking into her beautifully decorated kitchen.
"Water sounds great," I laugh.
"Amani anything?" my mom says looking at her.
"Water please," Amani states and brushes a strand of hair behind her ear. She brings back the drinks and hands them to us.
After chatting it up for about 30 minutes, I decided it was time to go. Adalia and Kaisen were sleeping over her house tonight. So I left with Amani in my care .
