Chapter 20

Annabeth POV

Apollo came to tell them news
"So they have encountered an enemy" Apollo said
"We know, Frank had a dream" Annabeth told him
"Well, I'm surprised Hazel stayed loyal to her friends" Apollo said
"What do you mean" Leo asked
"You know Hazel's old boyfriend, so he offered her a choice to go back in time with him" Apollo told them
"What did she choose" Annabeth asked
"She ended up killing him only because she knew where her loyalties lie" Apollo said
"Did Sammy provoke her though" Frank spoke up
"Well, he did threaten to kill Blaine" Apollo said
"Why is every single enemy they encounter want to kill my boyfriend" Kurt said
"Don't worry, he's fine, but he's a little scared after that" Apollo assured him
"So any good news" Annabeth asked
"Yes, help is on the way" Apollo with that happy note left
"Great information" Annabeth mumbled

Percy POV

They were all started to break
"I don't think I'll be able to keep going" Hazel sniffled
"You did the right thing" Percy assured her
"But I was tempted, I could have said yes anytime" Hazel said
"Look, you're strong, I know you want to protect us" Percy said
"I guess, I mean you guys are my family" Hazel smiled
Percy then turned to Blaine who was quiet ever since the encounter with Sammy
"You ok" Percy asked
"Yes" Blaine said
"I know you're lying" Percy pointed out
"Its just, I feel so vulnerable, I just wanted to stay strong but I can't" Blaine told him
"We all break down at some point, we all try to be strong but it doesn't last" Percy said
"Yeah, I guess" Blaine sighed
"Let me tell something, I think you're one of the strongest people I've met and you're a good person" Percy smiled
"Thanks" Blaine smiled back
"One more thing, before we left, Kurt came and talked to me" Percy said
"What did he say" Blaine asked
"He just asked me to protect you and make sure you come back alive, that's why I sort of been protecting you and also because I care about" Percy said
"That gives me more strength" Blaine said
But that promise to Percy just reminded him of the promise he made to Nico years ago, when he promised he would take care of Bianca, his sister
Sadly, he failed and Nico didn't forgive for a while,
"I've got to make sure I don't break my promises" Percy thought
