I was so pissed at Kate. You leave your daughter to your sister for 16 years and now you decide to get to actually know me and not be the "Aunt" that lives so far away..
Kate's eyes were filled with hurt and disgust. Why was I suddenly feeling sorry for that pathetic bitch that left me behind? Oh, i know exactly why. Kate suddenly started crying as she blurted out, "You don't know what happened, and i wasn't capable of taking care of baby....'' I could see the hate start to form in her eyes.
''You weren't ready or you didn't want to have to deal with me?'' That comment sure did make her shut the hell up. There was a long silence until i finally asked, "How'd you do it all those years? Watch me grow up, see pictures of me and not be able to do anything?''
Kate didn't answer for a long time. I'm done with this shit. I remember one time our family came here for a weekend. Right behind me was a hallway filled with doors. My memory reminded me the one to my right was the guest room. I snatched my things and headed into that room and locked it.. The room looked the same as before. Baby blue walls, a wooden desk, and a queen sized, white bed. I slipped off my boots and grabbed my phone and layed on top of the bed.
My phone was filled with messages. I texted Niall saying ''Hi'' then ignored the rest of the messages. I quickly stuffed my head phones in my ears playing my favorite song...
That song played at least 20 times, i cried every single damn time. The song was Wake Me Up by Ed Sheeran. I'm so done being screwed over by everybody. This is not fair. Not fair at all. This shit is my life. My life. While i was feeling bad for myself i slowly drifted off to sleep....
When i woke up it was 10 A.M., I dragged myself out of bed and walked into the kitchen that was there when you first walked in. No sign of Kate.. I searched the entire house and she was no where to be found. I decided to start getting ready for today.
As i got ready, Niall texted me "Hey! Wanna hang today love? Xx.'' Of course I wanted to spend time with Niall. I was thrilled. I finished my makeup and then got dressed. I chose white converse with black tights and a blue sweater. I grabbed my phone and money. I left Kate's apartment with no regrets....
