Chapter 4

King pov

I was heated. I knew exactly who hit up the party tonight and it was our rival gang. I knew that ace was behind this since he is the leader and has been trying to take over our territory.

I was also upset that Q punk ass just left janelle on the floor like that. Don't get me wrong I don't like the girl at all but I didn't want her to get shot up

"Where are we going Devin" she asked me for the 100th time. I was taking her back to my place because I was tired and didn't feel like driving to her part of town.

"Just shut up and ride." I told her and she sat back

When we arrived to my place she looked confused as she just sat there. I got our the car and opened her door as a hint to get out. She just sat there so I walked to my front door and walked in and proceeded to my room.

Moments later I heard the door close meaning she came in. I walked back to the living room where she was just standing awkwardly.

"You are staying here tonight. I will get you clothes to sleep in while you shower and I will leave them on the bed." I said

Before she could say anything I walked off and she walked into the guest room to take a shower. There were already towels in there so I went and got her a long t shirt to sleep in. I sat them on her bed and went to my room and fell asleep.

Janelle pov

I wake up in a unfamiliar place then I realized I was at kings place. I sighed as I went to the bathroom and took care of my hygiene. I think it was rude the way Devin...no excuse me king , just went to sleep on me like that. I don't know what his problem is with me but I'm going to go find out because I can't deal with his bull shit anymore

After taking care of my hygiene i walked into the kitchen where I seen king cooking I was surprised when he sat a plate in front of me to eat.

"Eat up so I can take you home." He said coldly

I instantly looked up offended and slammed my hand down on the table causing him to look at me like I had lost my mind. I looked at him and began to go off

"Ok you listen to me and listen to me really good. I don't know what your problem is with me but you are going to stop being so damn rude! I have done NOTHING to you but try and be cool with you since my first day but you are such an asshole to me. now don't get mad at me when YOU are the one who brought ME here like I wanted to come! so stop being so damn disrespectful to me! you know what just take me home now since I'm such a burden on you." I yelled as I walked out the door.

Moments later he came out and unlocked the door as I jumped in. we rode in and uncomfortable silence until he spoke up

"Look, Im sorry I made you feel like that" he apologized

"Whatever" I mumbled as we pulled up to my house. I jumped out but I noticed he also got out so I turned to see him on my tail

"What do you want?"

"Look I said I'm sorry let's just start over" he said

"Whatever" I said again, he looked annoyed but didn't say anything to my surprise he hugged me and got back in his car.

I stood there dumbfounded but quickly returned to my senses when I noticed he left. I ran in the house up to my room and layed on my bed thinking about king. I was definitely ready to start over.

Ok so I know I haven't posted in a while but I'm going to start posting more. this chapter was just a filler I might update more later on . btw king is played by august alsina because I freaking LOVE him
