Prologue

This is my first story on wattpad so bare with me.. I promise it will be worth it

Janelle pov

My name is Janelle Jordan and I am 17 and about to start my senior year in high school. I live with my mom and I have an older brother who lives in California while we live in New York. My brother moved to California after he graduated to go to school. My mom missed him so much so now we are moving to California..RIGHT BEFORE MY LAST YEAR IN HIGH SCHOOL. I was so upset to leave all my friends.

It's going to be hard to leave all my friends. I was known as janelle the most popular girl in school. I had the best grades and a body most girls would die for. I had a couple of boyfriends but it didn't work out. I prefer the single life.

"JANELLE COME ON BEFORE WE MISS OUR FLIGHT." I heard my mom yell up the stairs.

I ran down the steps and out to the car as I took one final look at my house and my old neighborhood.

After hours on the plane we finally landed in California where my brother was meeting us.

"JASON!" My mother yelled running towards him

"Wassup ma and janelle I missed y'all." He said

"I missed you more big bro." I said as I climbed into his Benz. He had a nice car and I wondered how since he was supposed to be a full time student at UCLA. I made a mental note to ask him about that.

"So you know you start school tomorrow right?" Jason asked pulling up to our new house.

"Yea" I said, " what's the school name again?"

"Ashton high school" Jason said " hurry and unpack so we can go enroll you. Did you go school shopping yet?" He asked

"Yep I got everything I need."

Beep! Beep! Beep!

My alarm clock went off as I groaned and got up to get ready for my first day at Ashton high school.

I took care of my hygiene first then went to my closet to find the perfect outfit. I decided on my ripped highwaisted shorts and a pink crop top with a pair of Jordans. My long hair was hanging down my back. I picked up my phone and ate breakfast while I waited for my brother to pick me up from school.
