Third period: pe with Mrs. Garcia. Most people dont like their pe teachers, I love Mrs. Garcia. She's the girls' basketball coach, girls' volleyball coach, and girls' swim instructor.

Back in the seventh grade, my cousin, Holly, joined the WVA swim team her freshman year. I followed her to every tournament, practice, etc. That's when I met Mrs. Garcia. I literally fell in love right away!

On my way to the gym, a freshman wandered over to me.

"Excuse me, do you know where room 302 is?" A blonde girl asked.

"Mr. Bart?"

"Y-yeah.." She said, looking at her schedule.

"Sure do. Have you had your English class yet?"

"No?"

"Well, earth science is in D hall. It's by the nutritional snack bar."

"That just makes me even more confused!" She threw her hands up.

"Well, I tried to help." I fired.

"Well, you didn't!" She yelled.

"Sorry, not sorry." I laughed before walking into the gym.

I found Genesis on the second bleacher. She looked liked she was on the verge of choking the freshman behind her out.

"Gennnnnn!" I shouted.

"Oh my god, Krisssss!" She nearly tripped when she ran down the bleachers and engulfed me into a hug.

She lost weight. My arms wrapped completely around her small frame now.

"Oh my god! You look great." I said.

"Thanks. I feel great too!" She squealed.

"How much?" I asked.

"Oh, I lost 40 pounds." She said.

She finally has her confidence back. I could see it in her stance. She has the life back in her eyes. I always envied her back in eight grade. She was just so tiny and her weight never caught up to her.

"Well, you look amazing." I told her with a smile.

"Thank you. I've never felt better." She said.

"Come on." I said, motioning for us to sit.
