A/N: Okay, I'm tired as hell, considering I got 3 hours of sleep due to constant cramping, like fuuuuck. So I'm once again very emotional, but this next part of the story excites me majorly so I wanted to share it with the few readers I have as soon as I could. Please enjoy!

My mind was swimming as I took the long walk home from Mandy's. She insisted on driving me because it is 9:30 PM, but I need this walk. I need to think about everything. From Harry, to Mandy, to the slash on my wrist.

I thought about why the cut was there, not remembering much until I reread the texts Harry sent me. The one's reminding me of how I'm a burden, and nothing more.

My mom's presence was in my bedroom. Her voice loud and clear repeating Harry's words to me. The one's reassuring me that my mother is always there, watching over me.

But how? How was she talking to me? How come I was able to feel her warm touch on my skin?

When I got home, my dad opened the door, and immediately wrapped his arms around me.. what?

"Hey Kristie." He said into my hair. "I've been really shitty to you."

"No kidding." I said, hesitantly wrapping my arms around him.

He lightly chuckled. "Can I please try and actually have a conversation or two with you? I ordered some pizza."

"Of course." I said, setting my bag on the inn table. I followed him to the kitchen. I grabbed two cups, pouring our sodas as he brought plates, napkins, and the whole box to the living room.

I met him in there, shortly after. I ran upstairs to change into my anchor tee and sweats.

"So who's the boy?" My dad asked.

"Oh, he..." I couldn't find the words to say. "He.. he just was there visiting a relative of his own. And then he heard my faint cries and offered to drive me home. But I just wanted to sleep, and coming home, I saw you were throwing a party. He told me I could stay on the couch in his flat."

"He seems nice." My dad nodded.

I had to change the subject. Harry could no longer be the topic of discussion.

"You know, this means a lot to me, dad." I smiled. "You really did care this morning."

He nodded. "But what was I to expect? I haven't properly cared for you in the past six years, so I couldn't expect you to just.." He trailed off.

"No need to explain, dad." I said, but then quickly added. "I understand, and you're trying now."

"I am. You and I only have each other left. I mean I know you have Mandy, but at the end of the day, all you have is your family, and I think I owe you major." He winked.

I sat and pondered over what the two of us could do. I started to reminisce about how tight our family bond had been. Game night every Wednesday, pizza every Sunday and Tuesday.

I remembered tucking away the board games in the upstairs closet to collect dust.

"What are you thinking about?" My dad asked. "I can see your wheels turnin'."

I looked at him and smiled mischievously before jumping off the couch and running upstairs.

"Kris?" My dad said.

I came back down with Clue, Sorry, Stratego, Rummikub, and Uno, and a big smile that matched my eyes on my face.

My dad reciprocated the smile, and rose from the couch to help me carry the games to the coffee table.

"Wow, what memories." He said, moving the pizza box out of the way.

"Same." I said.

We played two rounds of Sorry, me losing both. "Still champ!" He declared.

"Okay okay." I said, sighing.

"Aww, come on. I'm sure your still the Rummikub beast." He said, picking up the pieces to Sorry, while I made room for the Rummikub tiles.

And yes, my dad's statement was proven to be true, me beating him at Rummikub twice!

"Wow." He said, helping me put the games away. "That was the most fun I've had in the past six years." He said.

"Yeah, well with you anyway." I said, stifling a laugh.

Once everything was cleared away, we decided to watch 2 Guns, the both of us quickly drifting off to sleep.

"Good night Kris." My dad whispered.

"Good night dad." I said, neither of us being able to move from our spots on the couch.
