A/N:

okay, so I really hope you all are enjoying this so far. I'm sorry I haven't introduced anymore characters and that it is moving along so slowly! I will try & speed it up a little lol. well please enjoy this chapter bc something BIG will happen!

I was already in my seat when Harry walks in, Miranda following. Harry seeing Miranda, he rushes to her seat, and plops down, looking at me, with this adorable cheeky smile.

"Thanks." I said.

"No problem, I never really liked her anyway." He chuckled.

"I know." I laughed along.

"Okay!" Mr. Wright said. "Please take out your English writing book, and open to a clean page. We are going to write about something personal today. I feel like this class needs to have a day full of writing."

Mr. Wirght went on and on about how therapeutic writing can be. Truly, he doesn't have a lesson plan.

"Okay, begin!" He said.

I decided to write about Miranda.

Hello, English writing book. Miranda and I haven't been speaking to each other lately, and honestly my feelings are just a jumbled mess.

I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders, but I also feel like I lost part of myself along with that weight. Mandy has been there for me since the seventh grade, and losing her just ruins everything. When I think about the way things turned out, I feel like its my fault tbh. But, I know in the end it was for the best.

I hadn't realized I was crying until a tear splashed onto the paper.

God, maybe I miss her more than I want to believe. But I CAN'T. I just know I can't. My life has changed drastically this last week, and I know it's for the better, but I do know, Mandy is forever going to be someone I will want to keep in my life.

Two more tears splash onto the page, and now I know I need to leave.

"Mr. Wright, can I use the restroom please?" My voice came out as more of a whine.

"Are you okay, Ms.Moore?" He asked, of course, catching Harry's attention.

"Can I just go?" I whined?

"Sure thing." He smiled, sympatheticly.

"Kristie? Are you okay?" Harry asked, catching my wrist.

"No." I said, before running out of the room.

After school, I waited for Harry by the classroom door.

"Hey." He said.

"Hi, can we go now?" I sounded, inpatient.

"Sure. Do you wanna talk about what happened this morning?" He said, leading the way to his car.

"Maybe in a little." I said, hopping in the passenger seat.

Harry's POV:

The car ride is silent, nothing but her sniffles are heard in this now, cramped car.

"I don't know if I'm really okay with Mandy and I's situation right now." She said, her voice barely a whisper.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Well, I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders, but I also feel like a piece of me left with it." She said.

"I'm so sorry Kris." I rested my hand on her thigh. She flinched, but didn't move it.

"It isn't your fault, Harry. This is something her and I have needed.. not necessarily an ending,  but maybe a break." She said, mainly to herself.

"Yeah, a break." I nodded.

"I just dont know if I can go back to being her friend. Not after how drastically changed my life has been in just this week. I don't know if I want that again. But, I do know I want her in my life." She said, looking out the window.

"Well, try talking to her. Explain everything to her how you feel, how life is with her, and without her. Maybe she feels the same. Just give it some time. It'll all work out for the best, eventually." I suck at giving advice. That's probably the best you'd ever get out of me.

"Just talking to you helped a lot. I dont think I could have talked to anyone else about this. Thank you, Harry." She said, finally looking at me.

"You're welcome, love." I said.

Shit, there goes my British mouth again!

"Shit." I whispered.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"I didn't mean to call you that." I said.

"It's fine. I like it." She said, shyly.

"Okay, can I call you that then?" I asked, my nervous system spilling out of me.

"Yes." She smiled.

"Cool, now which house is it?" I asked.

"The faded blue one right up here." She pointed.

I drove up to the curb, hugging it.

"Thank you Harry." She said.

"Anytime." But I meant it this time.

"No, for being there for me. You're not that kind of guy, or at least I didn't think you were. But you're really a sweet guy, and I really appreciate all you've done for me today." She said.

That made my heart flutter. I felt myself leaning closer, and closer and I couldn't stop myself. She did something, way too shocking.

She leaned in, and connected our lips. Her lips parted slightly, giving my tongue access. Our lips danced in synch for about five minutes, before she pulled away catching her breath.

"You're pretty amazing at that." She said, her cheeks turning a bright pink.

"Well thanks. You are too, love." I smiled.

"Thanks." She said, grabbing her bag.

"No problem." I said.

"Bye Harry."

"Bye, love. I'll see you tomorrow." I put the car in drive, and drove off, a few glances out of my rear view mirror here and there, as I drove down her street, disappearing onto the next street over, parking in the driveway of my house: the house directly behind hers.
