III. Blue bottle

ELVIS POV

"Jake.! Jake.! Why don't you stop and face me?" He was walking,rather running, ahead of me and it was getting tougher to make him stop.
He saw me speaking to Skylynn and I don't know but I guess he heard us too. When I turned he was there.

"What? What do you wanna say?" He abruptly stopped and asks.

"I'm the one who's in the place to be questioning you buddy. What with you and Winter?"

"Oh so you wanna know?"

This was happening in the hallway and I really didn't want half the school to witness this scene.
I took a few steps closer to Jace and calming myself with heavy breaths.

"Well you know what, we should talk when both of us are in a place where we can actually talk and hear out to what the other's got to say. After practice at our spot."

The Blue Bottle was a cafe near campus where most of the school students could be spotted doing homework and the kids with their noses buried in books brought their oh-so-dates. Of course it would be an unusual sight to spot me at somewhere like this but one day in sophomore year I needed a place to run to and where I had never been before,where my father had no influence and where I could be in the corner without drawing attention. I happened to be at Blue Bottle and that's when new friendships stemmed and I met Grayson and Jace. I had known them since grade school but we weren't really friends. We just knew each other. That day they came to me and conversations began to flow in effortlessly and I had brothers. I could do anything for Jace and Gray. They were both the good guys inside and I know Jace won't ever cheat on Winter. Oh wait- on anyone to get Winter- fuck this. I have no idea what Skylynn implied. But my buddies can't hurt anyone. There must be something she's missing or Winter is missing.

"So you're there already I see." Grayson spoke as Jace and Grayson care together from baseball practices. It's been hard on the baseball team since the pressure to win this seasons first game is high.

I was the captain of the football team on the other hand. They said they needed me more in that field.
I was okay with either. Sports were to distract me. Any would suffice.

"I am." I replied.

"So what wrong with the two of you?" Grayson asked. He sure had a lot to speak today. Be the mediator.

"Wrong with him. Speaking to Skylynn about something he won't ask me. He doesn't trust us man."

I kept my emotionless facial expression that way. He needed to let out his anger.

"What? What do you think of yourself Mr. Elvis Regan? You can be the peacekeeper forever? Like speaking to people here and there and inserting them in between our lives?" Jace kept on fulminating till his lava drained and cooled off.

Grayson and Elvis silently heard and let go off of everything Jace had said. This was for first he was speaking so much since school resumed.

I ordered coffee for myself and had brought soft drinks for the creatures opposite to me.

"So is that all or we're left with something else too.?" I asked and we all started laughing.

"So what is the real weigh up?"

"Uhh.!" Jace began with a heavy sigh and we were ready to hear him out.

"Remember when I was with Natalie in the beginning of junior year?" Natalie was a bitch. I never address girls like this because all of them are different but her. You can't expect her to stay calm and see all the peace around.

We nodded and Jace began again.

Sorry for a long wait..!!!!! Skylynn comes in next chapter for sure..!!! This chapter was making about 1500 words and this had to cut it in between..!!! Next chapter in few hours.
