Did he call me sky though. Was it a nickname? Never mind. I had too many tests and assignments due to pay heed to that.
I waved Jeanine and Winter a bye and was walking through the parking lot since I had to walk to home today. Why did I even give Zach my car. Oh I hate him!
Wait— was it what I was seeing it was? Was it really that? Woah.! I have got to meet this person.! Stood in our parking was SRT dodge and-
I need to meet someone.! Elvis. I told him. Shit. Half the school's gone and I don't think he's anywhere here to be spotted. Who would miss him even in a crowd. But that's him who needed me. Not my fault. Is it? Maybe.I was beginning to leave when I heard my name called out.
"Sky.! Here.!"
Wait. Did Elvis Regan just pull out of the car I was drooling over. Shit. I am embarrassed.!
"Umm hey.! Where were you? I was looking around." I kept my gaze fixed on the ground while I asked him as if I was trying to make some Picasso art with my eyes on the tiles that lay beneath me.
"You were?" I couldn't miss the tease in his voice.
"Okay fine. You saw me. Why didn't you just come out than to...to see me adoring a tech beauty?"
"Wait what? Oh okay. Yea I was in the car but I didn't .." He was thinking, not to hard but just pulling his brows closer together and with that amused smile on his face.
"I was speaking to a friend but I guess missed a beauty adoring the beauty."
Jocks and flirts.
"I wasn't flirting. Or maybe I was."
I said that loud. Facepalm Skylynn.
The sun shone so brightly that I could probably just melt like a candle wax right now. Squinting my eyes and matching my eye level with this 6'2" creature,
"So you had to talk.!?""How about we sit down and then talk? Where the heat won't gulp us in?!"
"Umm Elvis I have to reach home early and since I'm already walking home today,I guess we'll just wrap up quickly."
