"You know what Natalie's full name is? Natalie Dashwood and I don't know with what relation but Natalie and Winter are related. Some second-third cousins I believe. I didn't know myself Natalie was a Dashwood but even if I had it was nothing I needed to care about. What I had with Natalie doesn't even need to be considered a relationship but it was like we both agreed to the casual fling we had with no strong feelings for each other. This summer,in the beginning, she had come to me and referred to having something back again. I have no idea where her other mates were. Vacations I guess. I told her I was serious about Winter and I can't. I said that in the most polite tone I could afford. Maybe she felt dejected and something and few weeks later, Winter comes and tells me I was cheating on her with Natalie and when I discovered that Natalie was her cousin I chose to have the blonde."

We all heaved a deep sigh of processing-how-shit-this-was.

"I tried explaining Winter this was not true at all but Natalie forged some screenshots and showed them to Winter and it's all fucked up." Jace explained how Natalie had kept her bases strong.

"You know what's fucked up here is that Winter would believe what that bitch says but not what her boyfriend would say. And she would believe those forged stupid screenshots over her boyfriend this is fucked. What's with all pretty girls being stupid." Grayson exploded too.

"Let's not forget that bitch is her cousin and that screenshots are forged is what Winter doesn't know but we do. I guess Winter is correct but one thing she could have done was to give you a chance of explaining and trying to believe you but not her fault again. And Grayson, dare not stereotype again."

"Whatever Dad. Anyways what's interesting is that Natalie knows how to forge pictures man.!! That's one talent." Grayson said trying to make situation a bit comical and we all smiled.

"What were you speaking to Skylynn about though?" Jace asked.

"Wait you don't know? You didn't hear?" I exclaimed in disbelief. This boy!!!

"Well I just heard some part where she was saying something about cheating and that was enough to switch me into the hot giraffe." Jace said.

"Wait giraffe? How does that make any sense dude?" Grayson can't keep shut. "And anyways this is why you were after Skylynn Elvis? I thought I had some ship under construction. I'm disappointed."

"You speak shit Grayson. Anyways Skylynn didn't tell me much but she rather told me to speak to you as she believed it wasn't her place to tell me things and stuff. But clearly the group believes what Natalie told them."

And other conversations from sports to school flowed in and girls were forgotten for that moment.

SKYLYNN POV

Dad dropped me at school this morning early because he had some meeting and my car was at the mechanics so here I was on a fine Thursday morning standing in the school parking lot alone. Or maybe three four people I hadn't seen at campus earlier. Maybe freshmen.

I ringed Jeanine,Winter and Zach.

Jeanine was sick.
Winter was late.
Zach was sleeping and hence no answers.

I guess I will wait till school begins. I took out my earphones and sat on the bench under the tree and scrolled through my playlist. I was feeling like Martin Solveig today and places played on my phone.
I was surprised to hear when I saw tough-as-ever Elvis Regan trying to mend his friend's relationship. I was actually soft when I saw him do his bit. It showed how seriously he took his relationships and knew how to keep them up. Or maybe it was too early to judge someone. I was totally engrossed in my thoughts to not notice someone taking a seat on the bench.

"-or is it usual?" Elvis was sitting next to me.

"Oh well I'm sorry. I didn't notice you were here. Did I miss something?"

"I hope I'm not disturbing. I was just asking if you're early too or is it usual that you come early?" He asked.

"Too? Well no. I don't really like being early but my car's at the mechanics and dad drove me off a lil early. Or quite a lot earlier." I chucked.

"Oh.! Seeing you doesn't seem like you mind that though. Jace told me to pick him up from his place and I left house earlier. Then he bailed out on me the last moment and here I am. Super earliest.! This day shall go down in history." He spoke with inserting fake-anger at the part where Jace ditched him. That only made him look cute.

"And you're with books?" I looked at the books he held. And now he attempted to cover them.

"Uh well..no..they were just extras and they're for Grayson. Not mine." He look embarrassed like a kid had been caught steeling cookies. He rubbed the back of his neck. I guess he secretly wanted the books to disappear or turn into some sports magazine right now.

"It's okay Elvis. Be cool. Senior year. We all need to gear up. We're all doing our own bits to do well in this last year." I tried consoling his state. He was cute.

"Yea. Thank you."

And this was we spoke a little about his schedule and my routine. Just casual conversation. But it fit in so greatly. No awkwardness. No weirdness. It all fell in place for the time so easily. Students started to flow in and I saw Jeanine coming in the campus. Wasn't she sick?

"I leave Elvis. Nice talking to you. See-

"Hey.! I spoke to Jace and he told me the story. Look there is some serious misunderstanding and Jace deserves to tell his side of the story."

"Oh..you know now.! Look Elvis I take into consideration of how nice a friend you are to Jace but Winter is my friend since grade school. We're more like sisters. Nothing disturbed her more than the separation from Jace. She was moved by rocks. I can't see Jace and her talking things out."

"Look Sky, this is exactly why I didn't approach Winter but you instead. You need to hear what happened. No conclusions can be drawn by hearing to one side. And the untrustworthy side. Never."

Maybe I can just hear what he has to say and let it go off. That'll be easy.

"After school. Here.! Gotta go bye.!"
