"No limit in the sky that I won't fly for ya. No amount of tears in my eyes that I won't cry for ya. Ooh no. With every breath that I take. I want you to share that air with me th-" Jungkook was interrupted by his father as he stormed into his room.

"Can you please shut up! Stop singing and go to sleep!" His father commanded as he pulled his messy hair out of his eyes.

"Yes sir, I'm sorry." Jungkook plopped himself down onto his warm bed as his father turned off his lamp.

Jungkook would stay awake for hours without studying, sleeping, or even eating. He was too focused on music and his singing.

His father didn't accept any of it. He wanted his son to graduate high school and be accepted into the best universities.

Jungkook's father quickly slammed his bedroom door as he walked out.

"There's no promise that I won't keep. I'll climb a mountain, there's none too steep..." Jungkook whispered as he buried himself underneath his blankets. Nothing stopped him from singing.

Nothing.

7:36 am

Jungkook wanted to punch the clock in the face. He didn't need it anyway, he had an iPhone.

He hated the mornings. Especially school mornings.

"Jeon Jungkook! The bus will leave you if you don't hurry!" Jungkook heard his stepmother say from downstairs. Precious woman.

"I'll be down in a minute!" Jungkook yelled back as he threw on a plain white shirt and jeans. He didn't wear any classy shit. He just wanted to keep it simple.

The boy grabbed his phone from off of his bed and hurried out of his bedroom and downstairs.

"Do good in school and learn something." Jungkook's father said as he watched his son step onto the bus.

Jungkook was pissed off and annoyed. His parents had just waited for him to get onto the bus.

Like a kindergartner.

Jungkook picked the first empty seat he could find, which was the first one right by the bus driver. He pursed his lips nervously, he was afraid to look back at the other teenage passengers until another boy got on.

He slowly got onto the bus and smiled at everyone. There were no more completely empty seats for the young boy.

Jungkook noticed that he was staring right at him. He quickly turned away to avoid awkwardness. Little did he know that the young boy would sit by him.

-plomp-

"Mhf." The boy muffled as he planted his ass onto the seat. He was small and short. His hair was as black as the shirt he was wearing.

He was handsome.

Jungkook didn't want to seem rude. It was his first time meeting someone new. He had to say something to the young boy. "Hi."

The black haired boy looked up at Jungkook and cleared his throat as if he had a lot to say. "Sup."

Silence.

Sup? Doesn't he mean what's up? I see this boy uses slang. Jungkook thought to himself as he broke the lame silence.

"The sky is up right now. What's your name?" Jungkook asked politely as he forced himself to smile. He couldn't let his first impression be boring.

"Park Jimin." The boy muttered as he watched as the bus stopped in front of their school. Jimin was glad to get off so he could get away.

"Ooh I love your name! My name's Jeon Jungkook." Jungkook showed off his bunny smile as he reached for a handshake.

Jimin immediately rejected it and quietly got off the bus and into the high school building.

This is why I have no friends. Jungkook mentally beat himself up for being, himself. That was the main reason no one liked him.

He was awkward.

There was another reason why. He couldn't let anyone find that out.

A/N: Here I am with my fourth published book! Obviously this is a Jikook fanfiction. There will be a lot going on in this story; different from any of my other books. I love you💜
