Jimin sighed as he mumbled underneath his breath as he stared at his laptop. "When and where can I find another job that would hire someone like me?"

The boy honestly did not want to work at Panda Express. It was too close to someone who he'd had a very bad impression with. Why did Taehyung have to work at the same exact restaurant he wanted to work at before.

Even though Jimin's mother was very excited for him and the new job he was now working at. He couldn't just quit just yet.

Dammit Park Jimin. Look at what you've gotten yourself into.

There was a faint knock on his door and the boy already knew who it was. "Come in, Mom."

Jimin's mother slowly walked into his room with a plate of spaghetti in her hands. "I made some spaghetti. I know I haven't made in a while so I thought this was a perfect time to make it."

"Thanks Mom, it smells great." Jimin smiled as grabbed some with his chopsticks and shoved them into his mouth. "This tastes better than it smells. I almost forgot how this tasted."

"I'm glad you enjoy it. I'll be downstairs if you need me." Jimin's mother told as she reached for the doorknob.

"Mom wait," Jimin paused as he got up from his bed. "I'll walk downstairs with you. Have you eaten yet?"

"No, not yet. I wanted you to eat first since you rarely come out of your room." Jimin's mother smiled as she twisted the doorknob.

"Well why don't we eat dinner together downstairs. Y'know, like we usually do every night." The boy suggested as he made his way in front of his mother and opened the door for her.

Jimin and his mother both walked downstairs together with Jimin in front. They both sat down at the table in silence before Jimin worked up the courage to start a conversation.

"I'm sorry I snapped at you earlier. You're my mother, you don't deserve to be talked to like that." Jimin apologized as he held his mother's hands his his small hands.

His mother smiled as she looked up at her precious son. "You're my only child. You deserve to be spoiled just like any other child. I'm sorry for not giving you that."

Jimin felt his heart crumble. He knew his mother had tried her best to raise him into a wonderful person and she had succeeded.

"You have no reason to apologize to me. You're absolutely perfect. There's no need to try any longer, Mom. Now eat before your food gets cold." Jimin giggled as he stabbed his spaghetti with his chopstick.

Yoongi laid across his bed and stared at his phone. He had been on the phone with Hoseok for almost an hour and they were having a conversation about nothing.

It was silence on the other end which made the situation awkward.

"Why did you call me again?" Yoongi asked as he heard the younger mumbled something under his breathe. "What was that, Hoseok? You're speaking too softly."

"Hyung, I have to go. My sister is annoying the hell out of me right now and I'm going to sleep soon." Yoongi sighed, hoping that the dongsaeng would have something interesting to tell him, but then again he was Hoseok. He had a life just like everyone else. Getting paid by his mother just to babysit his baby sister on the weekends was on advantage for him.

"That's okay Hoseok. We can hang out at your house tomorrow night. Text me when you can." Yoongi said before hanging up the phone. He sighed as he threw his phone on the side of him.

Why doesn't Jimin call? Yoongi couldn't suppress himself into not thinking about Jimin. All he wanted to do was talk. Was that really too much to ask?

Before he knew it he had grabbed his phone from the side of him and unlocked it. He felt his fingers glide over Jimin's contact. He immediately pressed call and soon regretted it.

"Hello?" Yoongi heard dully from the other end. Usually at school Jimin would a lot more energetic when he talked to the elder, but I guess today wasn't the day.

"Heyo Jimin, I was wondering if you wanted to go out with me tomorrow, y'know. Only if you would want to. I'm not forcing you. It's okay if you say n-"

"Of course I would. Where do you want to hang out?" The younger asked as his voice got a little more relaxed.

Yoongi felt as if his heart was beating completely out of proportion. He was sure Jimin would notice the slight change in Yoongi's behavior even when they were miles away from each other.

"I was thinking we could go to the arcade. It's okay if you don't want to go there. I know we're both 18, maybe we should go somewhere el-"

"I've never been to an arcade. We should go together!" Jimin blurted as the other end of the phone went silent. Yoongi wasn't saying anything anymore (at least nothing that Jimin could hear). Yoongi had placed himself on mute for a few seconds until he could regain himself again.

"Then it's a...date...I guess." Yoongi proclaimed, more like he was asking a question and not a statement.

"You can call it whatever you want. Whatever time you want to go, I'll be there. Just tell me five minutes ahead of time, okay?" Yoongi could hear the boys laughter from the other side and that just...sent chills down Yoongi's back. It was so annoying.

That was something he had never felt before, not even with Taehyung. It was all too weird. Jimin was one year older than Taehyung. What difference would that make? The fact that Taehyung was taller than him was one reason why Yoongi found it hard to date him.

Jimin was short and a lot more tamable which gave Yoongi confidence.

He had finally found someone whom he could spend time with on a daily basis. It was something Yoongi felt he needed in his life again.

It's time for me to make my ultimate move.
