"Do we have the mushrooms and soy sauce?" Jennie asked as she looked around the kitchen for the last ingredients they needed to make one of Jungkook's mother's recipes.

"Found some." Jungkook smiled as he placed the chopped mushrooms onto the counter next to the other ingredients.

"Soy sauce?" Jennie said as she stared at the boy. "Do you we even have soy sauce?"

"Um, I don't know. Maybe dad will buy some." Jungkook bit his lip as he stared at the recipe book. "We can replace soy sauce with something else."

"I honestly don't use soy sauce. I don't even know how to cook." Jennie laughed as she started preparing the food. "I guess it won't hurt if we just don't use it."

Jungkook stared at his stepmother in complete disbelief.

This woman can't even cook.

Jimin had walked home.

The sun was out which made the cold breeze comfort him. He wasn't halfway freezing to death.

But he knew he was going to be in hot water as soon as he returned home. His mother was slightly strict, but she had her reasons.

She didn't want him to end up being treated like he did in Busan.

Not again.

The boy opened the front door quite slowly. He was supposed to been dropped off by the bus a while ago. Yoongi was driving too slow which made Jimin worry.

His mother was going to notice.

He tiptoed up the waxed wooden stairs, trying not to cause too much disturbance. His mother was probably sleeping anyway which made Jimin a little less tense.

"Where were you?" Jimin heard someone say and he already knew he was dead. He turned around to see his angry mother glaring at him.

"I was at school. I just came home, why?" Jimin mumbled. He just wanted to lock himself inside of his room for the rest of the day. He felt a stinging sensation on his arm. "Ow!"

His mother had pinched him. "You weren't on the bus! I didn't see you get off. Where did you go?"

Jimin knew there was no way of getting out of it now. He had to tell his mother the truth. "A boy from my school dropped me off, but it was only up the street. He doesn't know where I live."

"So you think that would make it better? What if something happened to you. What if he hurt you like -" She was cut off as her son hugged her.

"Eomma, no one is going to hurt me. We're fine here. I'll make sure to protect myself no matter what. I promise never to trust anyone again." Those words ran out of his lips like liquid.

"You can never let anyone find out okay?" His mother pulled away as she smiled at the boy. His face was soft and squishy. She pinched his cheek which made Jimin want to pee more.

"Don't you go to work tonight?" The elder asked as he sipped a cup of his special tea. Special meaning, different and more favorable than any other tea.

"Yes hyung, I work tonight. You know this." Taehyung proclaimed, his mind all over the fact that Yoongi was meeting Jimin after school.

What could that mean? Is he thinking of being his friend or something?

"Bring some honey sesame chicken breast back." Jin ordered the younger as he flipped through the television channels.

"Y-Yeah sure." Taehyung said as he quickly got up from the sofa bed and approached the door without hesitation, he was gone.

Jin didn't really care, or notice that Taehyung had left his house without a proper hug, or goodbye.

Taehyung was a little concerned about what happened between Jimin and Yoongi.
