Chapter 25☙

JaeEun's POV
Next morning

I woke up to the feeling of someone lightly tapping my shoulder. Since I was a light sleeper, I immediately opened my eyes and lifted up my head, realizing that I had slept next to Jungkook the entire night.

Looking to my right, I saw a nurse. "Excuse me miss, are you admitted here?" She asked because of the hospital clothes I was wearing and I nodded my head lightly while squinting my eyes due to the fact that I'd just woken up. "Then you should probably get back to your room, I think you slept here the whole night and it's still not visiting hours. And please be careful while touching him, the nerves in his spinal cord were slightly damaged so it's best if we don't move a limb in his body until he wakes up."

I nodded once more and in my morning voice, I said. "I'm sorry, I didn't realize I slept here. I'll go back to my room, jaesonghabnida." I got up and walked over to my room.

Once I got in, I took my phone and looked at the time and it showed 6 o'clock. I didn't know when my mom or Jin oppa were going to visit 'cause I woke up around 2 pm yesterday. Since I was hungry, I went out and asked my nurse if I could get something to eat. She said yes but told me that I had to put the IV drip back in since I didn't have it in all night.

I did as I was told and as I waited for her to bring me something to eat, I went on my phone I looked at some new news articles and one of them caught my attention.

It was an arrival of how Mr. Kim was caught after many years of police searching for him due to numerous crimes, but... the unexpected thing was that my dad was also arrested.

I kind of always knew that my dad wasn't a very good guy, but I didn't know that he was with Mr. Kim. I did feel a little sad because even though he didn't care for me of Jin oppa he was still my father.

I suddenly remembered when Jin oppa told me about how after Jimin got shot they put a cast on his leg and he was discharged 2 days ago. 'I should go and visit him after everything he has done for me and Jungkook. Risking his own life in betraying his son of a bitch Uncle.'

After reading a couple chapters of a story that my mom had bought for me yesterday, it was now 10 am and I received a text from Jin oppa saying that he and mom are on their way to the hospital.

I got up to go to the bathroom to freshen up when I heard a knock on the door. Thinking it was Jin oppa I ran to the door, opened it and hugged whoever was there.

"Ugh I missed you, it's so boring here," I said.

"Umm... JaeEun I think you've mistaken me with someone else. I just came to visit Jungkook and found out you were here too." As soon as that voice spoke and realized it wasn't Jin oppa I quickly let go of the hug.

It was Hoseok. "Omg, I'm sorry I thought you were my brother," I said as his eyebrows furrowed.

"Your brother? I thought he..." he stopped talking after seeing that I knew what he was talking about.

"It's a loonngg story but turns out he is alive and well. He actually told me he and my mom was coming in 10 minutes and ran to the door and hugged who I thought was him." I clarified.

"Oh, ok- wait, your mom?!" Hoseok asked in confusion.

I laughed at his reaction to what I said. "Ya, ya, that's also a long story. Hehe, I'll explain it when I have the time."

"Ok but you have a weird family-" he was cut off by someone.

"Umm... excuse me but we aren't weird." I looked over to where the voice came from and saw Jin oppa standing there with a sassy look on his face. "Just because we are unique, doesn't mean that you can hate on us." He then dramatically flipped his non-existent 'long' hair making me burst out in laughter.

"Haha, ok ok. Nobody is insulting anyone. Hoseok is just confused like he should be." I said after calming down my laughter.

"Ok but JaeEun let's go. The doctor discharged you so we can go home." Jin oppa said.

"I should be going too... You know that I'm the one who's been taking care of your dog right?" Hoseok said jokingly and waved goodbye to us and my mother and walked out. 'I totally forgot about YeonIn :(.'

After we packed all of our stuff me, Jin oppa, and mom headed out of the room and walked towards Jungkook's room since I wanted to see him for the last time before we left.

As I walked into his room, hoping he would be there with his eyes open. But yet again, I was wrong...

Sorry for taking soooo long to post. I've been traveling and I'm super busy the whole day or I wouldn't have WiFi do it was hard to write. I've just been binge write when I can.
