So I woke up at like six o'clock this morning for the Strength and Conditioning Camp. (I'm just gonna call it S&C).
I thought I was going to die before it. I was so anxious I wanted to puke.
But we started doing it and I actually reeeaally liked it.
The first station was the running station, which really wasn't even running. We got up on the bleachers (which were super tall btw) and me and my friend had to be at the very top which freaked me out because I have an irrational fear of going downhill (don't ask.) Anyway we started out with toe touches on the steps (Not the stretch) and then we did step ups and then we snaked through the bleachers.
Then we got to the agility station (still part of the running) and we did a bunch of ladders, high knees, butt kicks, and power skips.
Then we went to abs, where we did six inches, V-Ups, Walk Downs, and something else really hard I can't remember.
Then came the jumps. That really sucked. We did cone jumps, box jumps, and jump ropes.
And then we went to the weight room which I though was fun. Fist we did power cleans with just the bar (45 lbs.) and I was actually pretty good at it but my friend dropped the bar it was great. We did 3x10 of those, and then we did power squats with the bar and we did 4x10 of those.
In short, everything except the weight room was outside and it was hotter than hell but I loved it. And I get to do it all over again tomorrow along with volleyball private lessons.
But seriously, if I don't have killer legs and at least a four pack by the end of summer, I'm gonna be mad as hell.
