On Friday, gunshots went off in a High School art class, 1st period.
A student shooter killed at least ten people in Santa Fe High School in Texas.
That's less then twenty minutes from my house.
Eighteen people were injured. Most got out.
The shooter also set off bombs around the area that were supposed to go off but never did. Those bombs could have been at the Target across the Street, or my junior high, or even in my neighborhood.
My friend's older brother goes there. Fortunately he got out, but the trauma is bad enough. My friend's cousin's boyfriend was shot in the head. He's still alive.
Ten. People. Dead.
I don't understand why this wasn't all over the media like the one in Florida. More were killed in that one, but a shootings a shooting.
This needs to be made known.
The only thing on the news is that royal wedding. People get married everyday, this needs attention.
Please pray for the families down here, for the students, staff, and parents of Santa Fe High School.
Schools in my area have received numerous threats, including mine.
I'm scared. It's all my mom wants to talk about, but I can't bring myself to say a word.
I don't care what religion you are, just pray for them.
