It took almost the rest of the day for One to wake up and by that time 10k's throat was raw from calling her name and his face was stained with tears because he thought she wasn't gonna wake up. The rest of the group were growing impatient and worried as they waited for the kids to come back.

"One-Shot," 10k whispered in her ear and she rolled over pushing him away and he chuckled. "sweetie wake up." He cooed and she pushed him away with her hand.

"10k," she moaned turning to face him. "let me have my beauty sleep." She joked and he laughed kissing her forehead.

"Come on C." He said shaking her and she yawned hitting him in the face. "Go away." She groaned.

"C come on now you've been sleeping for the last 5 hours since you hit your head." She groaned and her head faced toward the ceiling before she opened her eyes.

"There you go." He said and she smiled. "I've been missing that smile" 10 said and she laughed her cheeks turning a dark crimson color and she hid her face in his chest.

"Stop!" She wined and he smiled at her.

"It's getting late we will stay here for the night and then tomorrow we will go back to the group." He explained as she played with their hands which were intertwined.

"I hope you realize I really meant I loved you." She explained, and her heart started to hammer in her chest.

"Yeah I know." He said looking at her she looked up and caught his stare before looking back at their hands intertwining them.

"You know," she started taking a deep breath. "as more than friends."

She looked up at him and he had a shocked look on his face.

She sat in front of him for a minute waiting for him to say something. But he didn't.

One-Shot held back her tears as she got up from the sleeping bag she was laying on that 10k found. She grabbed her riffle which rested on the wall opposite of where they were and ran out of the room despite 10k's calls for her to come back.

He screamed in frustration and slammed his fists against the wall before grabbing his riffle and running after her.

"One-Shot!" He yelled running down the hall of the condo they were in. He noticed the tip of her riffle as she turned a corner and he ran faster.

Tears slipped down One's face as she ran from 10k.

She had lost him. She had told him how she felt and lost him. Just like Rider said.

There was no going back now.

They wouldn't be able to stand each other.

It would make tension in the group.

It would ruin the mission.

It would be better if One-Shot just left entirely.

She turned the corner once more before slowing to a walk not thinking he followed her.

10k turned the corner and saw her walking down the hall and slowed to a walk silently walking up behind her he grabbed her hand and spun her around before kissing her.

The kiss was slow and passionate and as cliche as it sounds One felt fireworks. His arms wrapped around her waist and hers were around his neck. 10k smiled into the kiss before he broke it.

The two had their foreheads resting against each others, panting for air.

"You didn't let me finish." 10k whispered grabbing One-Shots hand.

"I love you too, Cassia." He whispered and she kissed him once more. This one was short and sweet but perfect all the same.

"I'm with you, you know," She whispered and he nodded slightly whipping the tears from her face.

"Till the end of the line." He smiled at her.

"Till the end of the line." He whispered and kissed her forehead.

He wrapped his arm around her shoulders and they walked back to their little camp.

"Did you really just use a Captain America reference on me?" He asked and she laughed.

"What? I mean it's not my fault Steve and Bucky were the best thing ever." She laughed and he smiled sadly at her.

"Better then you and me?" He asked.

"Yup!" She said popping the p and he laughed at how cute she was being.

"Hey look there the love birds are!" One-Shot heard Addy yell as she and 10k walk back up to Warrens house hand in hand.

Addy ran up to Cassia and tackled her in a hug.

"Looks like you to made up." She whispered and One laughed playfully punching Addy's shoulder.

"I missed you too." Cassia sarcastically remarked and Addy smirked at her.

"Next supply run it's me and you and you are going to tell me everything." Addy whispered.

One-Shot groaned and turned away from Addy and walked to 10k not wanting to hear one more bit of Addy's teasing.

10k opened his arms out to her and she wrapped hers around his torso.

"I almost lost you." He whispered and One-Shot sighed.

"Don't worry," she said backing up so she could see him. "I'm not gonna leave anytime soon." He smiled at her and she kissed him lightly on the lips.

"Now let's go." She said grabbing his hand and pulling him to the truck.
