Long fingers tore out of the picture Micah there his arms in front of me, Leon grabbed Hattie and shoved her back she stumbled due to the high heels and fell Joyce got her gun ready and started shooting rapidly and yet so gracefully

" Well what are you waiting for? shoot the d*mn thing!" She shouted

Leon started shooting but it seemed to have no effect " Where did you get this picture Hattie" who now had blond hair and deep blue eyes and overalls

" I don't know it just appeared one day when I transformed" sh sounded worried

" We need to get Micah and Ethel out right now! " he shouted " Hattie get them out of here Joyce help me hold this thing back!"

" What is that thing?" I asked

"Who cares El let's get out of here" Micah grabbed my hand and laced his fingers in mine pulling me to where Hattie was entering a code, the thing was growling and scraping its claws against the metal I took one last look at it an icy hot feeling shot through me starting at my eyes I quickly turned around shaking off that awful feeling "Are you ok?" Micah asked

" She's fine lover boy, now let's go" Hattie said with as much confidence as a snail she looked at me sympathetically like she knew

"Yeah I'm,,, I'm fine" I stutter, we ran through twisting hall ways as Hattie spoke into a cuff that I hadn't noticed before she was pressing buttons on it and doors were opening untill we got to one door a golden on with a sharp small needle on the side

" Okay guys here's where it gets tricky" Hattie smiles nervously

" How tricky?" Micah raised his eyebrow

" Blood sample tricky, see we need to get through this door and then you're home free but you need to pierce your finger on that needle each one of us, one at a time" Hattie stated

" Hows that tricky?" I ask

"None of us are in the data base" she says " so I'll have to hack in there and put you in" she started pressing buttons on the cuff all of a sudden there was aloud but on the door one after another then a growling voice

" We're sending in the prutsys" said the voice

" Oh no those things can pass through walls and they kill on the spot" Hattie said with a sense of terror

" What?!?" Me and Micah shouted as the banging got louder

" Get your guns ready" Hattie said still typing away I couldn't believe we still had our guns then every thing was still and silent we pointed our guns at the door and then loud barking like noises started barreling through the door and these muddy yellow blob thing with shard things pointing out starts tuning at his started to rapidly fire the gun at them Micah did the same

" You don't see this everyday" he smiled he's joking right? We are about to be killed in a fictional world and he's joking around?

"Alright you're in now hand me you're gun" Hattie said

"You first Ethel" Micah said still firing I handed Hattie my gun

" I'll tell Leon " she whispered

"Thank you" I said and then I add " for everything" i shoved my finger against the needle flinching at the pain as words show up on the screen ETHEL VIVIAN PLOSS DAUGHTER OF LIAM EDMOND PLOSS STATUS: PURE, what does that mean?  The door opens and shortly after Micah comes in " what about Hattie isn't she coming" he shook his head I go to the window banging on it with my hands "open the door let her in let her in " I scream

"I can't we have to go" he said his head down I press my hand to the glass she give a a weak smile we press out heads against the glass for a brief moment and I say goodbye to my childhood best friend " let's go now" the yellow goop creatures come in close behind her and then she says something that I can't make out I grab his hand but he pulls me into a hug " everything is going to be ok, I promise, now jump" so I did taking Micah with me colours zipped passed, we landed on the floor of my bedroom hard

"I'd better go"Micah helped me up and started to leave and then stopped in the door way

" What is it?" I asked weakly

" I forgot something" he said walked straight up to me out his hands on my arms and looked me straight into my eyes and then kissed me " I'll see you later El" he picked up his bag and left I flopped on my bed and let out a long sigh long, what a long day.
