Some background on the Sunlit Garden
Basically a place where the children are either bred or stolen from their parents. There are half human children, who are raised to be CCG investigators; there are pure blooded ghouls who are either there to have kids or to fight; there are pure humans otherwise where would you get half humans; and there are half ghouls. And there are girls who carry IVFed kids. A very messed up place
Some background on half humans
As you know, when a ghoul and a human have children, the child will be neither fully ghoul or fully human. Most of the time, the kid dies. Sometimes you get a half ghoul. Half humans are children who were born from a ghoul and human but do not have ghoul traits even though they have ghoul blood- they are not ghouls and thus do not have kagunes, kakugan or kahukou (ghoul organs) and can eat normal food. However, they have incredible physical capabilities and a short lifespan (I would guess around 35-40 yrs, based on arima's age when he died in the manga). In short, normal humans which are super strong and die young.
note: I do not own all of the characters - most of them belong to Ishida Sui, but I created some (like Sakurako and some of the people at the Sunlit Garden)
