This ship holds a special place in my heart because it was my first OTP ever.
Reading Percy's thoughts about Annabeth made me fall in love with the idea of them as a couple. He obviously cares for her immensely as a friend alone. Their romantic relationship developed when they got older which I consider to be perfect timing.

My heart ached when Annabeth's narration said something about never being able to go by the ocean if she ever lost Percy. Simply adorable.
Their love is the kind that endures. When Percy went missing for over a year, everyone kept telling Annabeth to move on, but she didn't. She ended up reuniting with him, and the scene is the cutest thing ever.
I don't know how anyone can ship Percy with anyone else. I mean yes, there was the Nico factor for a second, but he found someone else.
Overall, this ship gets me every time.
