Nix POV

"S.H.I.E.L.D. Really need to invest in better security," I grumbled to Hazel as we both watched the car drive away. At least we knew the child would be safe, but our plan was only beginning. With one click I turned back on the CCTV cameras.

"Let's go," Hazel said picking up the bags that we had packed. I put my laptop into my bag and slung it over my shoulder.

We both headed down to the medbay, knowing that's where the rest of the team would be. By the time we arrived, the group was in a state of panic. Hazel jumped onto the table, waving her arms and shouting to get everyone's attention. Everyone quietened down for a minute, allowing her to inform Coulson and his team that the baby was safe and they needed to evacuate. This however, only resulted in more questions.

Suddenly you could hear shouting and footsteps down the corridor.

"We need to go NOW!" I yelled, getting everyone's attention and directing everyone to the door. Fitzsimmons were in shock and many of the others were in confusion.

We were almost at the quintet when we encountered company. There were 15 or 20 - way too many for the two of us to take on alone, but we seemed to be the only functioning ones in the group.

Without skipping a beat i ran in superspeed, punching the first 5 before they even reacted. The others however had shot there guns and my priorities changed to making sure the others were safe. I saw Hazel take out her gun and shoot a few others, using her telekinesis to knock some of the guards against the wall. The last few guards were taken care of by May and Coulson, whose fast reaction times meant the hallway was clear once more.

After making it onto the quinjet and it being in the air we could finally relax, only for a second though before all the questions came firing at us. I gulped and looked at Hazel who also looked nervous, we had some explaining to do.
