Alabama, a once beautiful state filled with welcoming people and amazing amounts of wildlife, now a broken wasteland filled with destroyed towns and mutants. Much like mainland America it is home to the enclave a once great group of people with a vision of seeing America back to its former glory, one that would not last. With the D.C. Enclave division gone there is nothing truly stopping the brotherhood of steel from expanding all across America, there fleet of airships have terrorized other divisions of enclave destroying ever single one, not taking any prisoners.
From the gathered intel the Alabama divisions spies have gathered from the brotherhood they were next for the brotherhoods genocide and that caused a great deal of fear to strike the groups leaders, they recalled all the recon groups And prepared for there last stand a valiant effort of fierce determination and loyalty to their cause. The enclave base was a large bunker under the city of Birmingham branching out for miles. night has almost fallen over the venerable Sloss furnace casting a creepy shadow onto the fallen skyscrapers and crushed building of Birmingham. Despite the nuclear apocalypse Sloss furnace is one of the most intact buildings in the area its smoke stacks towering over the desolate wasteland. Most new comers wouldn't go around that area in fear of the ghost story's that the locals tell and mutants that roam that area. As the moon finally casted its light upon the ruins of Birmingham, many could easily listen and hear what sounds like a large amount of sounds coming from the center of Birmingham sounds of drills and motors from old construction equipment were the most distinguishable, most knew it was the Enclave as they were typically seen around the area and were seen fighting in that area of Birmingham.
John Daniels was laying in his bed his X-o1 power armor standing next to his bed like a loyal guardian watching over its master. His B.A.R sitting on the night stand unloaded and freshly cleaned along with his 1911A1 just like the bar unloaded and cleaned. His eyes were closed listing to the sounds of metal upon metal as enclave soldiers ran by his door to prepare the defenses and weapons. Most enclave carried energy based weapons, not john through he much preferred the ballistic types as most were simple and easy to use and clean, and unlike the laser rifles his B.A.R was made out of mostly metal and wood not plastic so he could knock someone out with the stock with ease and energy based weapons were a hassle to clean and took time and time was not a luxury in the wasteland. John knew what was coming and he knew that this was the end of the Alabama division, they just had to hold off the brotherhood until the project designated 'Birmingham' was finished. he wasn't given very many details other than it could save the enclave, and he was of course skeptical but it's not like he had many options to begin with, and despite the skeptical thoughts he held he had refused to abandon his family. Almost every man, women and child he had know for years. He has cried with them, played with them and eat with for years. He couldn't bear the idea of losing them so he would stay even if it meant his death.
