Three

"What! How can he be in love? Oh terrible terrible! Just terrible!"
Right Hand said

"I know right! Oh no!"
Ears said

"What... Isn't it wonderful?"
Mouth said

"Wonderful?!"
They all cried out

"Umm... Yes... Love is a beautiful thing"
Mouth said still

"Why what do you even know about love? You only eat and talk!"
Right Hand said

"I sure do know a thing, and my dream apart from eating and talking is to actually be in another mouth"
It further said

"Eeeew!"
Every part retorted

"That's totally disgusting!"
Ears said

"What? We are him... We make up The Man... He hasn't felt this way before... So we have to support him on this"
Mouth said

"Like we have any choice not to"
Right Hand said disgusted
The Eyes rolled

"Oh cmon... How does it feel when you're in contact with another hand Right? Wonderful right?"
It asked

"Like I've never been in another hand!... I've only been inside the Nose, Butt, Ears, Teeth, Tongue, Armpit! They all stink!"
It said

"Heeey"
They all retorted

"Well... One day you'll be..  You have to work hard to get there... That's Jane's hand!"
Mouth said

"And maybe I don't want to be in Jane's hand!"
Right said

"you'd want her legs then right?"

"Oh... Just let me alone will you!"
Right said raising itself

The work day ended... The drive home wasn't as terrible as the one in the morning. Dinner was eaten and prayers were said... Soon The Man was asleep.

The Man stood up to use the bathroom... All parts had to be awake... Right and Left hand were putting back on his pants when butt let out a fart... Left hand screamed... The Man was scared... Unsure of what made the noise, he walked back into his bedroom...

"That's all you're good for butt... Just to fart you pig!"
The Nose retorted

The Man looked around in fear
"Who said that?"
The Parts were in awe

"He can hear us?"
Mouth asked stupefied

The Man covered his mouth...
"What did I just say?"

"Of course he can hear us Dummy!"
The Ears said

"Okay... I think I'm going crazy"
The Man said walking back to the bathroom and washing his face...

"Hey... Don't you think that's enough?"
Right Hand retorted after series of face washing

"Ahhh!"
The Man said looking at his hand

"Yeah yeah!"
Right Hand said still

The Man ran to the bedroom, switched on the light looking at himself... His heart was beating so fast, he was thinking he was hallucinating

"You... You... You can talk!"
He screamed

"We all can"
Mouth said

He held his Mouth tight... Then let go
"What!"

"Young man... Let me explain... You see we all can talk... Down to your internal organs... We are all part of you, you have control over yourself, but we have our controls too... We speak when we want... You should have noticed, when you say things you don't understand, we're doing the talking, thinking... We can come into the light if we want... You can overshadow us... It's all a win win situation... Most times... I give the mouth what to say, but it acts stubborn sometimes and says otherwise!"
The Brain responded

"That's because you bring mostly rubbish for me to say!"
Mouth responded
       The Man held his mouth and fainted

"Uhoh... He passed out..."
Right said

"Then we wake him!"
Nose responded

"Okay... You asked for it"
Right said giving a thundering slap

"Awww!" The cheeks retorted all red

"Awww!"
The Man said fully awake now
"Why did you do that?"

"You passed out"
Right Hand said...

"Wow... So this is real? Like you guys can control me and I can control myself too?"
The Man asked

"Better believe it... Seeing is believing"
The Eyes said

"Wow... Even my Eyes can talk?"
He asked

"Yes... All parts"
They responded

"All parts? Even my..."
He was cut short by the Right Hand giving him another slap...

"Hey!"
He said

"Not me... Brains orders... He's like the power house"
Right said

"Finally... Right agrees someone is greater than he is"
Nose said

"What do you know?"
Right said...

"If you don't watch it I'd sneeze another mucus on you tonight... It's cold and freezing... I'm blocked and I'm not afraid to use it!"
Nose said still

"We'll see about that"
Right said seizing the air again... All body parts in fenzy...
Soon...

"All of you stop it!"
The Man shouted removing Right from Nose and sitting back down
"Was this why I fell this morning?"

"Yes... You bet"
Mouth retorted

"And why I was driving like a crazy person to work?"
He further asked

"Yes"
Left Hand retorted

"You guys are fighting for who's the greatest?"
He asked still

"Yes"
Ears responded

"Wow"
He sat starring into thin air...
    How was this even possible... His body parts could talk! They could have a full conversation! This was unimaginable.. How would he tell others? How will they react? They'll call him a freak! He'd get fired from his work place... Making another mistake like the one today would be the last straw... And Jane... What would she think?  She'd not want to talk to him anymore.... Oh!  What the hell would he do?

"We could help"
The mouth said

"Help with what?"
He asked

"With Jane... You love her... I know... I beat faster anytime you think of her"
The Heart said

"Yeah... Jane... But what difference would it make... She'd think I'm a freak now that I can converse with you all... She wouldn't even go out with me"
He said head bowed

"Cmon... She seems nice... I'm sure she will"
Ears said

"I don't know what to do!"
He said

"Why not ask her on a dinner date?"
The Brain suggested

"Dinner?"
He asked

"Yes! Brilliant! Ask her... That way you two can connect and my dream to be in another mouth would be fulfilled!"
The Mouth said

"Ewwww!"
All parts exclaimed

"What?"
The Man asked

"Nothing"
It said

"Okay... I'd try!"
He said

"Yes!"
All parts exclaimed

He smiled and asked
"Ummm... Just so... Will you guys by any chance still be here tomorrow, just to be clear I'm not crazy... You know, that kind of stuff..."

"We're always here"
They said in unison

"Alright... Goodnight"
He said

"Night"
They all retorted
