chapter 3 \\ deal:
There is a photo attached and that is Oliver Silver :)
[Recap: Last chapter, Natalya Chisolm, Oliver's girlfriend, was introduced and the gorgeous Lucas Holland has made an entrance in the book. Finally, right? Chapter 2 was very short so nothing was really said. Also, we now know that Lucas is in Estelle's English class; and maybe her other classes too? Hm, I don't know; got to continue reading.]
Third day into the first week of school and I think I'm about to rip my hair out. I yelled into my pillow and got out of my bed to get ready for school. Just nine more weeks till school break.
I walk downstairs to see Oliver and Alex eating their breakfast with their phones right in front of their faces. "Technology kills brain cells," I call out, grabbing myself a toast and an apple.
"Okay, let's go now," I say, while stuffing the toast in my mouth and putting my lunch in my bag. I stood in front of them for a sold ten seconds and no response from them so I snatched both of their phones out of their hands and glared at them. "Let's. Go. Now." Oliver and Alex scowled at me and collected their own school bags and headed out the door. I followed them out and locked the door, handing their phones back.
"So, Estelle. Do you have any crushes on anyone?" Oliver asked, out of the blue, shoving his phone in his pocket and turned his head towards me. "No." I answer, slightly smirking at Oliver, "why?" Oliver nodded, "Just protecting my little sister from boys that'll break your heart."
I looked down, confused. Was Oliver actually playing the role of 'protective big brother' now? I shrugged the thought off and continued our walk to school.

"Estelle. Were you listening?" Milan asked, sipping her apple juice box.
"Sorry, I zoned out; what's up?"
Ben rolled his eyes, "There's a party tonight and before you say anything about not getting the invite; Jack, the host, sent invitations to the whole school."
Jack Williams? Like, Lucas Holland's best friend? "It's a school night. I'm not going to a party on a school night." I said, chewing my sandwich.
"Please, Estelle?" Milan pleaded, with puppy eyes. "Pretty, please?"
I tried to resist, I really did, but, puppy eyes do really get me every time. "Fine, but on one condition," I say. "Both of you will not force me to drink and I'm not getting into a car with either one of you drunk driving. Deal?"
"Deal."
The school bell rang and we all started to pack up our things for fifth period. Finally, the last period of the day. I had Math, the subject I hated the most, so I didn't rush and took my time. Ben and Milan had already taken off because apparently, they had a presentation to present in their History class. I stood up and turned around to get to Maths class, but unfortunately and fortunately, my face was pressed up against a hard-solid chest that, definitely, probably, broke my nose and smell of tobacco vanille, don't ask me how I know, wafted towards my nostrils. The human instinct in me resulted in me squeezing my eyes shut.
"Are you planning on opening your eyes one day?"
Crap, shit.
I slowly opened my eyes, and yes, the one and only, Lucas Holland was right in front of me; more like towering over me with his facial features describing him as if he was going to punch the shitake mushrooms out of someone. The 'someone' would've probably been me if I was a guy, so thank the lord for making me a woman.
