chapter four \\ had fun stalking? ;)
There's a photo attached and it's Estelle Silver :)
[Recap: Last chapter, Estelle gets forced to go to a party hosted by Lucas' best friend, Jack Williams. She ends up bumping and blowing up at Lucas and then lost for words when talking to him.]
It's been a week since I blew up at Lucas. He sends me smirks my way when we past each other in the hallway and I send him confused, dorky faces his way. I'm pretty sure it was two days ago that I bumped into my own locker questioning myself if I gave Lucas an abnormally weird face.
"Just go up to him, you loser," Milan comments.
I turn around to look at her, with my usual ham and cheese sandwich in my hands. "What are you talking about?" I ask, trying to sound innocent.
"Estelle, it's so obvious that you've got some crushy wushy feelings on Lucas Holland. You keep zoning out and looking over to his table, most likely looking at him with your heart eyes," Ben chimes in. I don't comment on his word choices; 'crushy wushy', but instead I give him one of my lost-for-words-i-don't-know-what-to-say looks.
I wouldn't say that I'm developing some sort of 'crushy wushy' feelings for Lucas. I mean, he is really handsome and I understand why girls drop on their knees for him, but I wouldn't find myself bruising my two beautiful knees for Lucas.
As Milan and Ben bicker about how tomato is better than mustard, and vice versa, I catch myself zoning out and chewing on my sandwich, diverting my eyes back to Lucas, but this time, I also catch Lucas staring at me.
I quickly look away, terrified somehow, zoning back into Milan and Ben's conversation. "Definitely tomato over mustard," I say, earning a death glare from Milan and wide grin from Ben.
The bell rings right when I finish my sandwich, indicating for last period. I pick my last period books up which is maths and salute my friend's goodbye. I powerwalk to my class, bringing my head down as I walk past Lucas' table, making sure he doesn't see me.
I take a seat at the very back of the class, while everyone slowly fills in the seats; much to my liking, no one sits next to me. Mr. Gallagher enters the classroom setting down his essentials for our class which then, trails in the principal and Lucas Holland.
Wait, Lucas Holland?! What the hell is he doing in my maths class?
"Sorry to interrupt, Sir, but Lucas Holland is now permanently in your class as he was being very disruptive in his other maths class," the principal announces, gaining a few giggles from the girls as Lucas winks at them.
Ugh, what a huge player.
Mr. Gallagher tells Lucas to take a seat and in that exact moment, his eyes connect with mine; Lucas sending me a smirk while walking over to me, taking the empty seat next to me.
"Hey, Twinkle."
Twinkle?! Who does he think he is?
"You know, Twinkle, your name in French means star," Lucas says.
I get a few death glares from girls. Hey! You can have my nickname if you want.
I turn around and give Lucas an annoyed frown, telling him to piss off and let me drown in my maths problems for a whole period.

I launch myself onto my king-sized bed and snuggle my build-a-bear. I grab my phone out of my jean pocket and scroll through my feed on Instagram. I like a post where Milan posted of herself, Ben and I at Jack's party last week.
