Chapter 29- Trust is all that matters

*Y/n's P.O.V.*

I open my eyes to find myself in the middle of a forest. I look at my surroundings, and I didn't recognize anything.

Where is everyone?

I stood up, and pain shot through my body. I wince as I start to walk around. I then noticed a girl with black hair and hazel eyes laying on the ground.

Aphmau!

"Aphmau!" I run to her side and I go to my eyes. She stirs and then she opens her eyes.

"W-Where are we?" Aph asks, looking around.

"To be honest, I don't know, but I do know that it's not the forest." I tell her. I stood up and I helped her to her feet.

"I'm glad your ok." Aphmau mutters. I smile at her, and then I heard a rustling sound. A girl with blue hair and blue eyes then appeared.

"Katelyn!" I say joyfully as I run to hug her.

"Y/n! Aphmau! You two are ok!" Katelyn sighs in relief when she hugs us both. Once we broke the hug, we all look at each other.

"Have you found anyone else?" Aphmau asked her.

"Kawaii~Chan, but that's all." Katelyn admits as Kawaii~Chan then appeared next to Katelyn. I hug her, and then Aphmau spoke.

"Should we try finding everyone else? Or find somewhere to stay?" Aphmau questioned.

"I think we should find the guys, Anna and-" I was cut off.

"Anna, Jessica, Ash, and Skylar.... when we were in the orbs.... they weren't there." Katelyn muttered.

"What about Lucinda!?" I ask confusingly. 

"I'm here!" I heard Lucinda's voice and I turn around to see her appear from the bushes.

"Oh thank Irene! Now come on! Let's go find the boys!" Kawaii~Chan squeaks out and we all nod.

We start walking through the trees, and then I see someone familiar.

"AARON!" I call, and he turns around to see me.

"GIRLS!" He yells and he jogs to us.

"I was looking for you guys." Aaron says.

"Same here, but are the guys with you?" I ask.

"Yep, we found a spot to stay until we found you guys." He replied.

"Show us where they are, and then we'll keep moving." I say, and he nods. Then we all start to follow Aaron. Once we reach an open hollow, the boys were there. Dante turns to look at us.

"Girls!" He says happily. I smile and then all of them look at us. I nudge Lucinda in the arm and whisper.

"I need to talk to you for a second in private." I whisper. When the guys weren't paying attention to us, and find somewhere private to talk.

"It's about the orbs. How did he make them? It takes a lot of power to learn that." I ask.

"I was wondering about that too! But I think I might know. Did you see the staff in his hand? It was glowing. I think that's how they were formed. I need to know what power he used, but we're in the middle of nowhere!" Lucinda exclaims.

"We'll talk about this later, but we should head back to the guys now." I say, and we stand up and we start heading back. I got a glimpse of Garroth talking to Aphmau, and then they disappeared into the bushes.

Lucinda looked in my direction and she nods. I hide behind a tree to see and hear what they were talking about.

"Garroth, why did you kiss me at Five Nights at Freddy's?" I heard Aphmau ask. I felt myself shake at the thought. It brought back flashbacks, but I shook my head to stop myself ad I continued to listen.

"Aph, I'm sorry. I understand how you felt. I panicked when I kissed you, because I didn't' know who to love. You or..... Y-Y-Y/n. I...." His voice trailed off, not knowing what to say anymore. I heard silence.

I looked at them and I saw Aphmau hugging him. My blood boiled with jealousy.

"It's ok Garroth. I understand." Aphmau whispers. I hid back behind the tree.

You have to trust her.

W-What the? Who are you?!

I'm you, just another side of you.

What are you trying to tell me?

Aphmau, your sister. Our sister. You have to trust her.

B-But how?

I can't tell you, but stick with Lucinda. She'll become your best friend.

R-right!

The voice never responded, and I turned to look if Garroth and Aphmau were there or not. They weren't there. I decided to go back to the open hollow to find that Aphmau was talking to Katelyn, and Garroth was talking to Laurence.

I spot Lucinda staring off into space, probably thinking about something. Before I could take a step towards her, Aaron spoke.

"Alright, so my plan was that we keep moving forward." Aaron spoke.

"And not know what's ahead. Jeez, that's smart." Katelyn says sarcastically. Aaron glares at her.

"What? Do you know what's out there?" Aaron scoffs. I cut Katelyn off before she could speak.

"Guys! We don't need to fight!" I shout, and everyone shut up.

"Ok, Aaron, I like your idea. But we need more than that. We can't just go out there. Like Katelyn said, we don't know what's out there." I mention.

"How about we split up into groups of two? Plus, we can all howl if we get lost, right?" Lucinda asks.

"Good idea! But what should the groups be?" Zane asks.

"How about... Laurence and Garroth, Dante and Travis, Aphmau and Katelyn, Zane and Kawaii~Chan, Lucinda and Y/n, and that leaves me with Vylad." Aaron exclaims.

"Alright, let's go!" Aphmau says and we all break apart. I walk with Lucinda, and we started to head towards a large mountain in the distance.

"I'm sorry about Garroth and-" I cut Lucinda off.

"It's fine, honestly." I mutter. Lucinda stays quiet as we walk.

Once we reached the bottom of the mountain, Lucinda looks at me.

"Should we climb it?" She asks.

"We've got nothing better to do, so ya." I reply. I start to climb, and as we got higher and higher, it was becoming more and more difficult. My legs and arms ached in pain. I reach for a tree branch to hang on to.

Lucinda had already grabbed the branch, and she reaches for my hand. I was able to grab it, and she pulls me up. I look farther up the mountain, and I saw how much farther we had to go.

This will be a long day...
