Paris.

I walk down the stairs hearing a lot of conversation. The voices quickly quiet down. I look around at the familiar faces. Big, Angel, Nathan, and Marcus are gathered on one side of the table. Victor and his son, Antoni are sitting on the other.
"Come take a seat," Victor request. I sit down on the other side of him. Angel is seated across from me. I mean mug her bitch ass. I'll never like that hoe.
"Tonight is a celebration," Big states taking a lead. "Everything is falling into place. Especially now----" the doorbell rings interrupting him. "Our special guest is here." I glance at the front door and watch as Quincy walks in. I stare a hole in the side of Nathan's head. What the hell does he have up his sleeve? Victor's soldiers step forward grabbing the duffle bags that Quincy's men are carrying.
"Take a seat," Victor tells Quincy. I watch his men pull out wads of cash from the bags. "Never ever speak before you're spoken to Darnell," Victor states looking Big in the eyes and calling him by his government name. Big drinks down his glass of wine and unloosens his tie.
"Don't you ever---" Big starts but Angel places her hand on his shoulder to calm him. He back hands her in the mouth. "Who the fuck! Don't you ever try to quiet me." She quickly covers her face. I grab I'm glass of wine and throw it at his ass.
"Stupid bitch," I yell. He quickly stands and Victor does too. By now everyone has pulled their weapons. I wasn't thinking I was reacting. Of course being captain save a hoe.
"Take a seat," Victor commands.
"Don't confuse my patience for weakness," Big responds and takes a seat. Everyone sits down once he does. The tension in the air is thick.
"Natalia," Victor calls for his maid. "estamos listos para la cena." She appears with dinner. She places our plates of Linguine Alla Marinara with grilled shrimp in front of us.
"I want a seat at the table. I'm tired of making chump change and eating crumbs while y'all eating caviar," Quincy states. Victor doesn't respond. He eats his food and takes a sip of his wine.
"I was thinking the same thing. I want you and Darnell to split downtown Hurt village into two sides. Quincy you'll take over the east while Darnell covers the west," Victor states and Big shakes his head. "You two splitting the area will allow more surveillance. You'll be able to control the traffic coming in and out of there better."
"What if I say no," Big asks and Victor chuckles. "If I split MY territory I'm splitting MY earnings."
"Anybody can be replaced," Victor responds. "You would not have any of that money without my drugs." Big takes a deep breath and nods in agreement.
"If this young blood gets me killed I'm taking everyone of you motherfuckers with me," he drinks another glass of wine and starts eating.
"Is that a threat," Quincy asks with a smirk.
"Nah young blood it's a promise," Big responds.
"Call me Q," Quincy instructs while twiddling his thumbs.
"Listen, I'm gonna call you whatever the fuck I choose," Big stands. "We'll be in touch." He turns to leave. "Oh and before I forget---" he throws his glass of water on me. "Like I said don't ever mistake my patience. You're lucky I'm not putting a bullet in your ass." I sit in my seat completely stunned. Marcus, Nathan and Angel follow Big out.
"Say the word and he's dead," Antoni states. Victor shakes his head.
"The time will come," Victor responds.
"Thanks for dinner. We'll be in touch," Quincy says. He and his boys excuse themselves.
"You okay," Victor asks as I stand.
"I'm done," I say. Antoni excuses himself also. We're alone.
"I'm ready to go back home. This shit is not for me. I don't want to do it anymore," I admit and Victor shakes his head.
"You're not leaving," Victor states and grabs me.
"I am," I say and snatch away from him. "You think I'm stupid? You got a girl from the hood and offer me the world. Now, you expect me to follow you like a fucking lost puppy. I'm done. I'm tired of almost getting killed over this bullshit!" He grabs my throats and pushes me against the wall.
"You're afraid," he asks and kisses on my neck.
"No," I answer and tug away from him. "I'M GOING TO COLLEGE!"
"You want to leave me after all that I have done," he asks. His brown eyes pleading with me.
