"Justin is being hard headed and won't let me go, even after I told him that I've let him go romantically."

I decided to call all of my friends over to help me make sure that I was making the right call on Justin and I.

"So why are we talking about if that's what you feel?" Courtney asked. "We're doing this to make sure that I really do mean and feel what I said."
"Whatever you choose, just know that I'll be here for emotional support." Alexa piped up. "Thank you, I appreciate that." I chuckled.  "Alright let's get this over with, ask me the questions you've been dying to ask me."

With that they were hitting me with questions, mainly questions about how good of a kisser he was rather than how he actually made me feel as an individual.

"Thanks for coming over Hailey. I needed a girls opinion on a girl situation."

"No problem, but now I'm guessing that she shot you down after you left my  house."

"Yeah something like that." I scratched the back of my neck. "She said that she doesn't feel anything romantically anymore."

Hailey looked at me with concern, "What else did she say?"
"She also said that I look like I'm happier with you."

"Are you?" She asked, making me think harder than I've ever done before. "I don't know. I see myself with Ariana right now." I ran my hand through my hair,  "She also said that maybe I'm scared of what will happen if me and her don't end up  together and I'm beginning to think that she was right."

"What is it about her that makes think that she's the one?"

I went mute for a while. I thought about everything we went through. From the moment we met to the last time we kissed.  I smiled at the thought.
"Everything...The way she smiles when she talks about something she loves or how she cares about others feelings."
Hailey raised her brows, "Does she care about your feelings now?"
"I'm sure she does. She cares about everyone."

"Well all I can say to you is that, your feelings are your feelings, don't fight them and also don't force it on anyone. Especially Ariana, if she says she's not in it, let her go. She probably wants to find herself and evolve without you."

I let Hailey's words sink in my mind. She was right. I can't control Ariana, she is her own person and I am my own person. 
I just can't let go of her yet, I'm not ready to give up on us.

"Thank you Hailey. I'll let you know how everything went." I gave her a soft smile. "I'll be waiting!"

"Okay real talk guys!" Alexa calmed down. "How do you feel when your around him?"

"He made me feel like I'm the only girl in the world. Like I was on cloud nine, but then he got sloppy and started drinking heavy at parties. I don't want to be responsible for any of that."

"So then why are we having this conversation, if you already made up your mind?" Courtney asked. "For Justin. Even though I told him that I wanted to end it already."
"You still love him?"
"Yes, but I don't want to be together."
"Then he should be able to respect your decision. If he loves you he should respect everything about you." Courtney added.

"Well then I have to tell him how I really feel and hope that he still feels the same." I paused. "I love him too much to let him go like this."
