🌹Tyler's POV🌹

I don't know what I'm doing. I never do. I'm kissing Josh, again! I don't know why, I can't fall for him. This is bad, this very, very bad. I need to stop, but I can't, I can't control myself. I have to do something to stop.

Part of me wanted this moment to last forever. The other part of me wanted to run away as far as I can. That part of me was winning, 65% running away to 35% staying. I backed away from Josh as fast as I can.

"I-I'm Sorry" I ran off before Josh could say anything.

I don't know what I'm doing. If I go to the cabin Josh is going to be there sooner or later. I could go to the person that runs the place and ask if I could go home. My anxiety was taking the best of me. I ran straight to the building beside the main one. I knocked on the door waiting for an answer. A couple seconds later Cherry opens the door half asleep.

"Tyler? What are you doing knocking here?" She asks

I guess she skipped the fire too to sleep. I mean... I would too.

"I-I'm not feeling well, can I call my mom to pick me up?" I say sounding sick
"Uh, Yeah sure. Come in"

I walk over to her desk and sit in the worn out leather chair.

"Here's the phone" Cherry says handing me the phone
"Thanks" I mumble while dialling my moms number.

She didn't answer the first time so I called again. After a few rings I get an answer.

"Hello?" I hear my brother speak
"Jay, can you give the phone to mom please?"
"Yeah sure"

A few moments of silence mixed with rustling.

"Hi Tyler!"
"Can you pick me up from camp?" I ask
"Why, what's wrong"
"I feel sick"
"Really? Are you sure?"
"Yes I'm sure, throwing up twice makes me sure" I lie
"I'll be there as soon as I can. I'll be there in 10-15 minutes"
"Okay, thank you mom"
"Love you Ty"
"Love you too" I say before hanging up the phone

I look over the desk to see Cherry asleep again. I decided to let her sleep while I went to pack my stuff.

I walked back to the cabin seeing Jordan and Brendon exit the cabin.

"Hey Tyler" I hear Jordan say
"Hi guys"
"What's wrong?" Brendon asks
"I-I'm going back home"
"Why!?" They both say in unison.
"D-Don't worry, I-I'll probably be back in less then a week" I say

I said good bye to Jordan then Brendon waited till he was gone to start talking again.

"What happened with Josh?" He asked
"N-Nothing, w-why do y-you think s-s-s-something h-happened with h-him"
"Because I can tell that you're lying and did you not hear yourself stutter. You don't stutter that much talking normally. I know you Tyler. We used to be best friends"
"T-True... well we kissed a-again. I-I just feel l-like I'm not s-supposed to l-like him. L-let alone f-fall in l-love with h-him!" I froze, realizing what I just said. Am I falling in love with Josh? No, this can't be. I have to leave. I have to go now!
"You love Josh!?" Brendon asks
"I-I honestly d-don't know B, that's why I'm leaving. I-I can't deal w-with my emotions r-right now"
"I feel you, just please come back. I haven't seen you in ages! I would be sad if I didn't see you again"
"I know, m-me too" I say while hugging him
"I have to go pack now" I say
"Okay, please come back though"
"Yes I know B" I say hugging him again
