Lily's POV
"Children!" I groaned. Jacob and Joseph ran around the kitchen as I tried to get them to sit down. They are twins and are only 3 but very strong and advanced in their age as they have alpha blood in them. It is decided Jacob will be the next alpha as he was born a whole 10minutes before his brother. Joseph was most likely to be the beta and the child in my belly now? Who knows. Possibly the 3rd in command. I heard a chuckle coming from the doorway and look up to see Dylan standing there, leaning against the door frame. I glared and him before playfully scowling at him. He was supposed to be helping and he was meant to be on my side! The boys suddenly noticed him. "Daddy!" They shouted, running over to him. He laughed and picked them up, placing one on each hip and walking over to the table. "Giving your mum trouble are we, my little terrors?" He asked. "No!" They replied innocently as I scoffed. "Don't be fooled. Sit them at the table would you darling?" He obliged and came over to me kissing me on the cheek, wrapping his hands round my waist, resting his hands on my enormous belly. I was due any day now. "Hello babe." He purred in my ear. I have him a quick peck on the cheek before gently swatting him away and picking up the children's plates of food. He growled slightly as I placed the food in front of them, causing me to roll my eyes at him. "Relax! You don't want them starving do y-" I was cut off as unbearable pain surged through me and I let out a scream. Dylan's face turned pale as he rushed over to me. "Rose! Can you come and get Jacob and Joseph... Now!" He shouted. Rose appeared just as water flooded onto the floor. She gasped, as did I. My waters had broken. The baby was coming.
She grabbed the boys as Dylan rushed me to the pack hospital where the doctor was ready and waiting. "Hello dear." She said kindly whilst examining me on the bed. "You're fully dilated! You need to push now." Using all my strength, I pushed and Dylan held my hand and stroked my hair in an effort to sooth me. Half an hour later, a wail filled the room. "It's a girl!" Announced the doctor and I smiled. "Felicity. Her name is Felicity." I said weakly before darkness took over.
*15 years later*
Lily's POV
Today, Jacob and Joseph were 18. Dylan was stepping down from being alpha and we are holding the ceremony today for Jacob to become alpha. Indeed, his brother Joseph is going to be his beta and his third in command Felicity. She has trained to be one of the best fighters in the pack and is a real asset. My other children sat with me as the ceremony took place. Since Felicity, Dylan and I continued to be very busy [naughty I know ;)] and had had 5 more children! Two lots of twins and one other. We are so happy and our whole pack has broke closer, more like a family. Possibly because everyone involved in leading it is family? Our pack is now, without doubt, the largest, most powerful and highly skilled pack in the world and Dylan and I have played our part. It is now time for us to step back and let the children take the reins.
