I love her so much

Rose's POV

Where was I? The last thing I remembered was meeting a really nice guy... Collin? I looked around. I was in an empty room and the door was locked. I curled up in a ball and wished Lily was here. How badly I missed her. I remember, when I was taken away from her and mum when I was just 1. I'm 5 now. I heard several pairs of footsteps and in walked a beautiful lady, no girl. She looked familiar... Wait, Lily? She looked like her and looked around the same age as she would be now... I hurled myself at her legs as she stumbled backwards, clearly taken by surprise. She looked down and gasped. "Rose!?" I beamed! She remembered me!

"Lily! It's really you! I've missed you so much!" I exclaimed while she started to uncontrollably cry and picked me up, cuddling me close. I was suddenly snatched out of her comforting, safe embrace. My broad smile was replaced with tears starting to collect in my eyes. I wanted Lily! She growled at Jack, who was now holding me. She didn't trust him and to be perfectly honest, neither do I, anymore. Suddenly, Collin slapped her for nothing! I gasped, shocked. Who do these men think they are!? She smiled at me reassuringly to show me she was fine and turned to Collin. "Please?" She whispered. "Please let me hug and hold her." She begged. Why was she begging him? He just slapped her! What is she doing? She's better than this! He narrowed his eyes at her but granted her permission. "Sit down. W'ell talk." She nodded and tucked me onto her lap, my head against her chest. I felt warm and safe with her. "Is your cheek okay?" I whispered. I could see her slightly smiling to herself. "Yes thank you, sugar plum." She whispered back, using my old nickname for me, making me very happy. She stroked my hair lovingly, gently.

"Let's start from the beginning." Collin started. "As I said earlier, your mother found her mate, my dad, and had me and Jack. Then, she left us for another man, your father. When your father left her, she tried to meet up with her mate, my father while you were at school. He refused her and kept us away from her. We blame you for how he changed when she left and for not having a mother. As we grew, we started to blame you for taking mum away. When you were with Alpha Jack a little while ago," he smirked at Lily but I don't know why. She seemed to though as she shivered and her eyes betrayed a little fear and anger but she masked it so quickly I'm not even 100% sure it was ever there in the first place. "We didn't know you were her daughter. We only found out once you'd been rescued by that stupid cousin if mine. Of course, because he was a son from my father's side, not mothers, it means you are not blood related. We decided to take you and then I discovered he was holding Jack prisoner, my beloved brother so I thought why not kill two birds with one stone? Just before we set off, we found Rose here and learnt who she was. Your sister. We took her and left her here then came for you and Jack." There was a silence when she started to shake. "Wait. You didn't..." She let the sentence hang and I think I saw her give them a meaningful look but I'm not sure. "Relax. No... Not yet."

"How did you remember me Rose? You were only 1." She randomly asked, her face betraying curiosity. "I never forgot you Lil. I loved you so much and then you were, you w-were just g-g-gone." She enclosed me into a hug as my bottom lip began to tremble. "Hush hush. I'm here now baby. I'm not going anywhere without you ever again." She soothed quietly into my ear. I love her so much!
