If I Die Trying ~ Yoonmin

The first chapter ~

Jimin is hopeless. It's not like anything's wrong in his life - socially skilled, everyone knows him. Always someone there for him if he needs it.

He's hopeless in love. 

Being so deeply in love with this person. 

It's a mission impossible, someone he does not deserve. His best friend Min Yoongi, spiced with serious opinions and love for producing music. He has this personality of making people around him feel comfortable. Laid back. So lovely.

Like most loving relationships, this also started as an innocent tiny crush. Later on turned into infatuation and stopped at total admiration. Jimin himself had no control over this matter. It all 'somehow' happened. Yoongi is totally to blame.

The more time he spent with Yoongi, the more he fell. First slowly, then like a shooting star on the bright night sky - so fast no one saw it happen. Jimin has a talent of hiding his real feelings.

Now everytime he sees Yoongi, his heart beats over exaggeratedly, sweat appears on the skin caused by his working heart and his hands began to trembling. Yoongi usually asks if Jimin is mad for some matter - by the look, Jimin shows up as if he's annoyed or nervous. Wish he only knew.

He's fond for the requests and clumsy with words around Yoongi, as told, it's hopeless. Because of his uncapability to say no, they ended up being roommates in the first place. It's making this situation thousand times harder for Jimin. Because he can't have him - he has a girlfriend and probably doesn't like men that way.

How basic and pathetic to be unilaterally in love with someone who's happily taken by someone so perfect. She's not only gorgeous, beautiful and balanced but smart and comes from a wealthy family. The way they look at each other makes Jimin die inside everytime. They have it all and Jimin knows it. There's no reason for Yoongi to give up the future he can have now. There's no reason for Yoongi to look at Jimin the way he does his girl. 

Jimin isn't even perfect. 

Yoongi likes perfect.

Even with reasons like these and million more, Jimin should give up and move on, find a future for himself. 

It's not like he hasn't tried - he has and also has failed.

And failing made him give up on everything at once. He became absolutely exhausted by being haunted with thoughts which never fade away. The more Jimin tried to forget the more he remembered. 

He ends up to Yoongi everytime.

These days Jimin's mental health is at stake - his happiness and his agony being all caused by the same human.

Happiness equals Yoongi paying attention to him, being with him, talking to him, smiling, doing or just being, existing next to him.

Agony equals Yoongi existing next to him not loving him back, not touching him. It's his girlfriend's laugher caused by Yoongi while they're behind locked door. Moans, kisses, all that Jimin wants but someone else gets them.

Jimin just wants to be happy. 

It's not like he's always sad or miserable or hopeless. He's happy when he drinks. Until he hits the state of drunkeness when sadness pushes in. From heaven to hell in minutes. That breaks if something.

People would think Jimin is selfish for wanting Yoongi for himself. For not being happy for his loved ones happiness. But people are different. Who are people to tell how anyone should love someone and be selfless?
