《Unedited Version》
Liz's POV
An imaginary halo and bright light was glowing behind him as if he was an angel.
Ian is that one friend that I wish I could have met when I was feeling down.
I quickly looked away, when I noticed someone walking closer.
I was too overly happy that I felt heat rising up my cheeks when I wanted to control it, I was too late. A smile that I didn't want to express was definitely on display.
A customer came up to me as she places her items on the counter, when she looks at me, she said, "Sweetie, you're blushing."
I awkwardly looked down and entered her items.
After I packed all her things after she had paid, I looked up to give her the bags and change.
"Thank you~" she said.
I just smiled and lightly nods.
After Ian deals with his customer, he turns to me and said, "Liz, why were you blushing a while ago?" He teases as he tilts his head to an angle and gives me that mischievous look.
IAN!!!
STOP IT!
Liz, make up an excuse quick!
I can't let him be too over the top because he can be too dramatic at most times. I just haven't mention those times.
I looked up at the ceiling and saw the fan that was not turned on.
Ah! There's my cue.
"Indeed? It was hot," I looked at that fan which was not turned on. I fanned myself with my hand, pretending that it was the heated atmosphere that cause my cheeks to turn pink.
"Oh~ you could've asked me to turn it on."
He went to turn on the fan and happily smiles when he turns to me.I just smiled as he returns back.
"There you go~" he said in a really friendly-nice way.
"Thanks?" I said.
"No biggie." He said as he suddenly grabs the sides of my hair and lifted it up and wiggled it like bunny ears.
I was happy when he turned the fan on for me because the atmosphere was warming up.
That unnecessary act of his made my smile faded into a glare at him.
The employees started laughing from a distance.
Laughing and shaking their heads as they went back to work.
Ian was just chuckling along.
"Ian stop! It's not funny."
He stopped and teased me several times.
Today was awkward, I have never felt this embarrassed.
After closing the shop, Ian came up to me to say "sorry" for making me a fool in the afternoon and "good bye" before he goes home.
