Karen's POV

<flash back>

Elizabeth has been my crush ever since year 1, that day when I saw her entered my class.

I have never mentioned it to anyone because many boys are hopelessly in love with her.

Her genuine and carefree personality really captures attention.

I bet she doesn't even know it.

12 years now and my feeling are still there.

I hate myself for being such a coward.

This time I need to at least give it a try.

I will try to ask her out this year.

<present>

I decided to go to the place which Elizabeth had transferred.

I didn't know which school she attends yet, but I'll find out soon.

I got my stuff ready and my mum came with me to Urban School this morning and after all the talks and all.

I got enrolled.

I was assigned to the science class.

I walked into the class and no one was there.

So I just walked around looking at the organisation boards while waiting for people to come.

I felt so awkward because I didn't have a seat yet.

The principle asked a handyman to bring a desk and chair for me while she kindly told me to go to the classroom.

The handy man soon arrived and I thanked him for being these furniture.

He smiles and leaves.

I took it and placed it in the front row.

I hate sitting at the back.

You really can't figure out what the teachers says.

I cleaned the furniture and placed my bag on the seat, my books in the desk.

I stood outside to wait.

It got chilly so I had no choice but to walk in and read through the papers and charts on the wall.

I noted the timetable then I finally found the class list and read through it, to find out the students names.

Hoping that I could have been in Elizabeth's class. That would have been a win-win.

Just when I saw the name Elizabeth Wilson.

I immediately knew it was her name, there's no way that the surname could have been be a coincidence.

I was so happy that by all fate and destiny, I was at the same school and in the same class as she.

I continued to read through, just before I read onwards, I heard foot steps walking in and I turned to see who it was.

"Kaden?" She spoke.

"Elizabeth!" I said in excitement.

She smiles and walks up to me, "I was expecting you to transfer here 2 days ago but I just didn't realize that it was today. Sorry and welcome!" She said.
