Days had swiftly passed, not waiting for anyone to cling onto its foggy trace. Assignments still drowned those unfortunate students, deadlines still welcomed those exhausted children, and romance still wandered around those clueless youngsters.
As usual, across the hallway people could easily spot a familiar tangerine busying herself with the vending machine. That was, apparently, the one and only Kang Seulgi. Everyday, Seulgi would spend her time around the mentioned place between classes and practice. The fact that she kept buying the same drink somehow made other students inquire into its 'behind the scenes'.
Ever since that fateful day when Seulgi met Park Jimin, banana milk had become her favorite.
They would meet whenever they had a chance to, even if it didn't last long enough. Each second seemed so precious that both Seulgi and Jimin chose to treasure their little moments in all sincerity.
Same thing happened today, Seulgi bought two cartons of banana milk and headed to their so-called 'dating spot' - the old wooden bench under a large oak tree where they first met. There wasn't any plan for whom that should buy drinks, so sometimes both of them would buy two each and ended up drinking all four cartons and laughing at their silliness (plus residing temporarily in the washroom to release unwanted water in their stomach).
Seemed like Jimin was a little late due to his schedule, and Seulgi had no choice but to wait for her special-friend to come. She was merely swinging her feet back and forth while settling herself comfortably, mumbling to a random song. It was such a peaceful scene, until a group of mean girls that you usually see in every teenage movies chose to disrupt it.
"Well well, look who we got here. Isn't that everyone's beloved 'Sport Club's Vice President' Kang Seulgi?" - one of the girls said with an ironic tone.
"That must be me. Hi." - Seulgi replied them as emotionlessly as she could, still ignoring the others' existence.

"And why is she sitting here all by herself here hm? Do those stupid boys get tired of tailing around you already?"
"That's a relief then."
"Oh please don't act innocent. We all know you got in the club just to be surrounded by men and take their attention you flirty fox! Stop seducing them or else I can't guarantee what'd happen to that pretty face."
"Try me."
"Y-you little bitch--"
"Hang on there!!"
Before the aggressive girl could lay a hand on Seulgi, someone had grabbed her wrist tightly and restrained the violent act. Seulgi's eyes widened at the moment she saw the figure of the one who just saved her.
