The pathways had been washed from a dusty milk chocolate to deep dark one, as if this rain could last forever. Same day, yet so many things had happened within that barely twenty-four hours. Jungkook and Yerim were now living under the same roof; Taehyung and Joohyun's encounter in Daegu; the unpredictable kiss Namjoon gave Seokjin; Jimin spent a night at Seulgi's place; things got better between Seokjin and Sooyoung; and Yoongi was diagnosed with sugar high from consuming an only-God-knows amount of cakes Seungwan ordered at the cafe earlier.
"Thanks for taking me home sunbae." said Seungwan when they reached the entrance of her apartment. "The desserts were so good, let's visit again."
"Let's....not. I think I might have diabetes." Yoongi grunted.
"Why? Am I too sweet for you?" she joked, twirling her hair with a cocked eyebrow.
"Seriously?" the boy snorted. "You've been acting too confident ya know?"
"Should I not?" the girl clenched her jaw.
"Nah, this is fine, keep it up." Yoongi flicked the other's forehead without forgetting to throw his signature smirk. "We can go somewhere else, I need a break from sugar."
"Are you perhaps implying you'll continue walking me home?"
"Until you could do that by yourself, with a safe ass, then yes." he uttered, more or less like a threat as his voice strengthened.
"Only 'until then'?" Seungwan snorted, flipping her hair arrogantly. "What about after that?"

His thoughts were interrupted by her question for a second, then came back as he began to think how he had changed since the day he met her. Yoongi had become the protagonist in his own story where he used to be the baddest villain. Once he was stuck in his negative range and always extreme, to the point that anger was the only emotions he showed the world. Now his face was all soft followed by the beginning of laughter, all thanks to her.
"Well, if you don't mind..." the delinquent scratched his head, his gaze avoided hers. "I-I'm gonna accompany you home 'from now on'."
"How about to wherever I like from now on? It sounds better don't you think?" Seungwan tilted her head a little to catch Yoongi's eyes, and gave him a wink as soon as they met.
