Time passed and the rain was finally gone. Now that the dusky mud could be seen easily on the sidewalk, the street had been washed clean, nothing was more obvious than the remained wetness on the grass verges. Kissed by the almond-shaped droplets, the soil beneath was cold and as dingy as the molasses under the glossy strands that were moving along with the breeze.
The stars in the sky were nonexistent, and the cloud had merged into the ashes of the horizontal blanket; the moon was unable to fight for its shine, as its glory was being hidden completely behind those darkened cotton. Silvery night, no twilight, only blackness.
"Everyone, over here!"
A group of young men arrived through the school gate upon the call of Jimin. They soon greeted each other with a playful high-five or chest-bump, yet stood looking all confused.
"Where is Taehyung, and Jungkook too?" Seokjin asked after taking a quick scan.
"Taehyung is in Daegu, I don't know about Jungkook." Jimin scratched his neck, looking as clueless as the others.
"Anyways, what's the matter? Yoongi is not here either." Hoseok questioned.
"That's the matter," the blonde folded his arms, "Seulgi got a call earlier, which possibly was from Yoongi-hyung, then she immediately rushed outside by herself, worriedly."
"Hold on, you and Seulgi were together??" Namjoon's eyes widened. "Hey hey! Students can't do 'that' before their teacher, that does not make any moral sense!!"
"We didn't do anything!!" Jimin screamed his lung out for justice. "Can you stop caring about this and focus on the more important stuff??"
"Okay fine fine! Blame my jealous single ass." The tallest clicked his tongue, signaling the younger to continue.
"So you decided to stalk her? What if Yoongi and Seulgi are simply dating?" The handsome doctor shrugged as he stated his opinion.
"NO WAY SHE KISSED ME!!!" Jimin blurted out.
"SHE KISSED YOU???" Everyone screamed back in unison.
"Shoot," the short blonde quickly covered his mouth til he realized it was too late. "J-just once from earlier tho, but forget that! I'm sure she and Yoongi are in danger, we must help them!!"
"Sure, we will let you pass for now." Hoseok patted Jimin's shoulder, sighing. "Do you know where they are?"
"The thing is...I don't." The latter ruffled his hair helplessly. "Hobi-hyung, you're the closest to Yoongi-hyung, do you by any chance know where he often visits?"
