Kayla's p.o.v

We've been sitting in the waiting room for about three hours now waiting for someone to tell us any information but no one has said a word.

Diego isn't doing to well. He's already had two anxiety attacks since we got here and no one telling us anything isn't helping. He's been sitting in the corner crying since we first got here when they told us no one was allowed to go back with her.

-Flashback-

We arrived at the hospital and jumped outta the car as quick as we could rushing to Diego's side as the pulled her out of the ambulance. Her arms were bandaged but they were soaked meaning the blood hadn't stopped.

Diego grabbed her hand and walked along side her as they brought her into the hospital. Doctors and nurses crowded around us yelling orders to other doctors and nurses. People were running every which way getting medical supplies and bringing them over to help with the situation at hand.

One of the doctors pulled Diego's hand away and they took her off to a different room where we couldn't see her. Diego tried going back with her when another doctor stopped him.

"Get your fucking hands off me and let me by!"  Diego yelled trying his hardest to push past the man but was stopped again. "I'm sorry sir but you can't go back there right now they need all the space they can get in that room so they can work on her and get her some more blood." The doctor looked away with pity in his eyes and walked back into the room Summer was in.

Diego went into a rage throwing chairs and messing up papers. Ethan ran over to him and hugged him getting him to calm down. I walked over as well and hugged Diego tight letting him know that we're here for him and that it's going to be ok. He broke down crying and said he needed some space so we left him there in his corner not sitting far away and checking on him when need be.

-Flashback end-

I went to go ask Diego if he wanted something to drink when one of the doctors came out.

"Family and Friends Of Summer Whitley?" The doctor asked looking around. We all stood up and walked over to him.

"Y-yes." "Well she was in very critical condition from losing that much blood but we were able to stop it and get some new blood in her." Smiles came to our faces knowing that our friend was ok.

"So can we see her?" Diego asked immediately. "Yes, you may see her but she's sleeping and might now wake up till tomorrow so be patient and do not wake her up."

He said flipping through his charts. "Her room number is 576." With that the doctor walked away as we stood there.

Diego was the first to move. He ran straight to the elevators and got on. "Hurry up I wanna go see my babygirl!" He yelled as we ran over as well. "Ok ok damn we're here." Ethan and I laughed a little.

We waited and waited for the elevator to reach the fifth floor.

We finally reached it and looked through the halls trying to find her room number. When we found it I burst through the door and ran over to my best friend and held her hand even though she couldn't hold mine back.

The boys finally walked in and sat around her as well. We all sat in silence with tears running down our faces as we looked at her. We stayed like that until we heard the door open and a few people walk in. I thought it was the doctor and a few nurses but when I turned to look it was the last people she'd ever want to see here right in front of me.

Diego and Ethan saw the anger on my faces as I looked at the people across the room.

"Kayla who are they?" Diego asked standing up next to me. "T-they are her..............family."

Shit chapter but I'm trying my best. I hope you enjoyed nonetheless😅
