Chapter 6

I stayed up all night researching Peter and Michael but sadly for Peter I found nothing. I didn't know his last name and it helped me none. For Michael I found he has an older sister and brother. That's it nothing else.
"What is this about?" I asked.
I went to the window to look out for inspiration something I always loved to do. Except this time I saw something, something weird. I grabbed my phone and took a picture of the odd thing. I zoomed in to find it was a person. I looked closer to find it was a women, but not old.
"Who could that possibly be?" I asked.
I went out to the garage to get in the car. I started it up and left. The young women saw my car and started running. Not suspicious at all. I kept driving slowly to not make it look like I was following her until she stopped at the doors of my school.
"Hey guys I'm at the school if you don't heard from me within an hour call the cops." I texted all of them.
The lady walked into the school. The lights were already on so someone was already in there but at 8 why would anybody still be at school?
I looked in through the window to find the young lady standing in the cafeteria. I felt a shoulder on my hand and a hand over my mouth. The best instinct I had was to yell and run, so I did just that but the grip was strong.
"Hush Lana nobody can hear us!" I heard a familiar voice state.
I looked to see it was Michael.
"Believe." Michael said.
"Ahh it is the real you." I said hugging him.
"The real me?" He asked.
"Some guy come to my house giving my friends and I pizza and he said it was you but I knew he wasn't." I said.
"Did you take any food from him is that why you're friends are not here?" He asked looking around frantically.
"Don't worry no they're at their houses sleeping nothing bad." I said.
"Lana you should not be here by yourself." Michael said.
"Sorry." I said looking down smiling.
I saw a bright yellow light coming our way so I pushed him against the wall as well as myself and we hid. There was actually 3 cars. I knew those 3 cars anywhere.
"What do you think you are doing?" Arabella asked coming after me.
"Lana you are never this curios what's going on?" Liora asked.
"Just go back home I told you within an hour!" I said defending myself.
"We were not going to risk that chance." Keighlin said.
"Fine here! Take my car someone follow her to bring her back her and for the rest of you stay in the car and ill be back." I said handing my keys over.
"No this time I'm going with." Liora, Arabella and Stella said.
"No." I said arguing.
"Thank you." Michael said to them.
I gave them all bad looks for turning against me.
"What do you know?" Arabella asked.
"Huh?" I asked looking confused.
"Don't do that I know you what did you find out?" She asked In a whisper.
"Nothing. Absolutely nothing. I tried looking up Peter but nothing came up I don't know his last name so it did nothing. I looked up Michael but all it said was that he had an older brother and an older sister he lived in London nothing special. The same thing for Evelin just what I found from the other day." I said.
"You looked me up, why?" Michael said obviously listening to our conversation.
"Peter said game so I thought this was fake." I said honestly.
"I'll tell you everything just not here in the open and just not yet." He said.
I looked back at the cafeteria to see what was going on. The rest of the people did too.
"What's that?" I whispered to Michael.
He was in between Stella and I with Arabella on my other side and Liora on Stella's other.
"That is a shadow." Michael said.
"Who's?" I asked.
"Peters." He said with a sky smirk.
"What do they want with it?" Liora asked.
"They can hurt Peter with it." Michael said.
We headed back to my house including Michael.
"Okay Michael I have a question." I asked.
He turned to look at me to tell me all his attention was on me. We were outside my house while the girls were in there waiting for me.
"Michael I think I know what's happening." I stated.
"What?" He asked.
"Are you Michael darling, your sister Wendy and your brother is John. Did you travel to Neverland? Peter is he Peter Pan?" I asked
"Lana yes. Please don't tell the others okay they will soon find out." Michael said.
"Michael why are you needing our help?" I asked.
"Lana I can't tell you just please wait and stop doing research got it?" He asked.
I looked down but agreed anyways. Michael left and I walked into the house.
"Are you mad?" Keighlin asked.
"No actually I'm pretty happy." I stated.
"No dummie you are a crazy person how could you possibly be that ditz to want to go searching for danger Lana please don't ever ever do that again." Arabella said.
"Okay I said an hour I thought you guys were asleep I didn't mean to wake you guys okay? Don't come barging in here yelling at me because I want to know what's going on." I said.
"Guys lets just go back home and sleep." Kali said.
The girls agreed and left except of course Arabella.
"Arabella go home you need to sleep." I said.
"No you're not leaving and neither am I. Ill leave early tomorrow to get clothes but just calm down I'm staying." Arabella said.
I groaned at the fact she treated me as a child but also loved how she cared.
The next morning we woke up at 6 to get ready. We all leaved right around the corner from each other which was strange that we never played with each other when we were little but still. Arabella left at 6 to get ready and by 7 I was done and left to go to school.
"Bye mom I'm heading to school." I shouted as I walked towards the door.
"Bye darling." My mom said.
"Lana what were you and Michael talking about yesterday?" Keighlin asked.
"Oh nothing I just asked what all I saw." I said covering my lies.
"What did he say?" She asked.
"He said that I saw Peter's shadow which is odd but somehow it was and that they could hurt him." I stated truly.
"Oh." Was all Keighlin said.
I walked to class very quickly trying not to see any other girls I tried staying away from them today.
"Lana where were you this morning?" Tess asked as she entered the room.
"Okay I'm not going to be treated as a baby I do not need you guys looking over me." I said.
"Lana no Michael was looking for you nobody is treating you as a baby calm down. Michael told us another riddle." Tess said.
"What really?" I asked.
"Yeah." She said.
"What was it?" I asked.
"She runs in the wind and is fearless she has songs of colors in the wind." Tess said.
"Who guessed it?" I asked.
"Keighlin." She said.
I nodded my head to say I understood. For the rest of the class period we hardly spoke along with the day me and the girls hardly spoke. I arrived home to find my mother was there early.
