Chapter 9

The weekend went by very quickly surprisingly.

"Hey babe how is everything?" My mom asked walking into the living room as I watched tv.

"Great mom." I said.

My mom sat by me and for the rest of the Saturday night we just watch tv and got to be with each other.

"Mom why was that Evelin lady here?" I asked.

"She just wanted to know if we needed help." She said not moving.

I nodded my head to just agree.

"So why have you been leaving the house a lot lately and why have I been hearing a knock on the door a lot?" My mom asked.

"Um these people have been interested in my work ethic." I said nervously hoping she wouldn't hear through my fib.

Sunday went by extremely fast and by Monday morning I was dreading to go. I really didn't want to see the girls I just was not wanting to believe what happened over the weekend.

To my surprise none of the girls were waiting. I decided to text them to ask where they were. All of them texting me different replies but basically the exact same text.

"Running late sorry ill be there soon." Or along the lines of that.

The day went by awkwardly none of us would look each other in the eyes but we could text just fine.

I arrived at home and found a package in my room.

I looked and decided to open it.

"You must guess who this belongs to it may belong to you or another princess you will know it will come naturally." Peter and Michael wrote on the note in the package.

I looked into the package and found a stuffed rat that looked like Gus from Cinderella.

Some if the other girls apparently got a package that day to because a group message was sent to the ones who got a gift.

"Don't send a picture or show anyone." I replied.

"Why?" Beatrice asked.

"What's going on?" Jadah asked.

"Wrap it up and Friday we will give the gifts to the person we think it belongs to it could be like a fake Christmas for us and if we know each other very well we can get this right." I texted back.

The next morning.

Tuesday went by slower that Monday and Wednesday slower than Tuesday so on and so forth. Each day different girls got a gift until Friday came and every had already gotten one.

Finally Friday hit and they all headed over to my house.

"So before we open the gifts lets make some food." Liora suggested.

"Okay." I agreed.

"What are we making?" Ariana asked.

"I have no clue we haven't really gone to the store lately because the whole Peter thing and Evelin acts as if she's moms best friend." I said.

"It's okay we can go to the store and get food." Liora said.

"Okay how about half goes to one store and the other goes to another." Arabella stated.

"What about the gifts I don't feel comfortable with them here unprotected what if Evelin comes here?" I said.

"Lana you can stay and watch them just do not open any." Tess said.

I laughed but obliged.

"Oh don't get any cookies I bought some yesterday to make." I yelled as they left the house.

I grabbed my phone and put the music on shuffle. I then decided to make the cookies now.

After my first batch of cookies were made the girls arrived.

"Jingle bell jingle bell jingle bell rock dancing and prancing at the jingle at the jingle rock." I sang on the top of my lungs.

At that time the girls walked in standing in the door way watching me. I was not just signing at the top of my lungs but I also was jumping around

"It's safe to say she wasn't peaking at the presents." Ariana said.

I heard them at that moment and jumped.

"Someone could knock." I said.

"We did but you were too busy signing so you couldn't possibly hear anyways." Liora said.

I looked down blushing.

"The first batch of cookies are done." I said avoiding the looks.

"We got chicken we decided since we are considering the presents a fake Christmas our dinner should be fake Christmas too." Tess said cheery.

"Good idea." I said.

Good thing today was Friday or else tomorrow during school would be a drag for the time we will be staying up.

We finished making everything by 7.

"Lana where does the fruit salad go?" Jadah asked.

"Just put all the things on the counter first the chicken then the sides and after put the dessert so we can go in a line for it all." I said pointing to where each food goes.

We finished eating by 8 because we kept talking.

"Okay so is it time to reveal the truth yet?" Beatrice asked.

"Yes." I said.

We all grabbed the gift we got in the package and sat down on the couch.

"So how are we doing this?" I asked.

"Why don't we just have one person give it to everyone like someone get them and hand them out." Arabella said.

"And who's going to do that?" I asked.

"Me!" Tess said.

Tess gave her present to Stella, Stella gave hers to Loorea, Loorea gave hers to me, I gave mine to Liora, Liora gave hers to Keighlin, Keighlin gave hers to Kali, Kali gave hers to Jadah, Jadah have hers to Beatrice, Beatrice gave hers to Arabella, and Arabella gave hers to Ariana.

The original present Ariana had was the lizard from Tangled. Arabella had grumpy one of the dwarfs from Snow White. Beatrice had a snow man that looked like the guy off of frozen. Jadah had a raccoon from Pocahontas. Kali had a book from beauty and the beast. Keighlin had a sword was fake but had a cherry blossom on it. Liora had a fish flounder from little mermaid. Lana had glass slippers. Loorea had a pink fairy godmother from Sleeping Beauty. Stella had a necklace from the Atlantis character. Tess had a lion from Aladdin.

We gave our presents to the ones we thought it belonged to.

"On the count of three we are going to open them." I said.

"1." Ariana said.

"2" Jadah said.

"3!!" Tess said.

We each opened the presents in front of us and laughed.

"Sorry but we are all wrong from the looks of it." I said.

I looked up and Keighlin was holding flounder.

"Oh my goodness Flounder is that you?" I asked even though I knew he wasn't really there a part of me still believed he was.

We then went to grab the objects that truly belongs to us.

I soon found out who each of us truly where.
