I've been sitting at the port for a few minutes. Spencer is getting the boat ready and I am looking out for our friends. We've stocked the boat up with snacks and drinks as well as enough bedding for everyone. This weekend might not be such a disaster. I'm excited. I haven't done anything remotely fun in a long time. The last time I'd done something like this was the beginning of last year. I'd gone to a party with my friends that ended badly. Let's just say there may have been a fight influenced by the drinks people where having. And I may have been the centre of the fight. I don't want to repeat that night.  Ever.
"Hey miss we are here for the last hurrah, you wouldn't happen to know where that is?" Laughing at Callie's joke I started to play along.
"I'll have to check your names on the guest list first," we both cracked up laughing "just head onto the boat Spence is getting it ready, I'll wait for the other two and meet you guys up there." She pulled me into a hug before heading up the ramp pulling Liam along who was carrying both their bags. My guess is that he didn't want offer to either.

Twenty minutes later the final two showed up. Late. I can't believe it. As they walked up to me I got up and walked onto the boat without uttering a word to them. It's not that I'm mad at them I just really like things to be on time. I normally have my days scheduled down to the minute. Spencer told me I had to be considerate, you know because not everyone likes to follow a schedule.

"Sorry we are late princess but someone forgot to check the fuel in their car." Ryan was obviously talking about Josh. I have no idea why they came together. It probably has something to do with Ryan's suspended license. Plus they live in the same street.
I'm not going to let him ruin my weekend. No matter how hard they try. And trust me they will. I'm going to have fun.
Now that we are all onboard small chatter starts as we pull out of the port. It was a nice set up, we had bought extras mattresses that were sprawled across the floor. There were fairy lights hung around the edge and as many blankets and pillows we could find thrown haphazardly around the room. Spence sat at the wheel while the rest of us had taken over a bed each, our bags lay long forgotten in the corner of the cabin. Clothing was scattered around as we lay in our togs ready to get in the water once we stop. It's so hot in the small space in the cabin but no one minds. Spencer told me this morning he was planning on going a couple hours out. We want to enjoy the company we have and have the best weekend. We won't spend the whole time snapchatting and instagramming the weekend and actually enjoy ourselves.
Spence had gathered all our phones at the start of the trip and they lay in a bowl discarded and unwanted.

We have arrived at our destination, a beautiful spot in the middle of the ocean. It's almost sunset which is the perfect time for a swim. The water is glistening as the last of the sunlight hits it and the only thing that can be heard is our laughter as we crowd around the deck getting ready to swim. It's perfect.
I can feel someone creep up behind as they put there arms around my waist. Tilting my head I found Ryan's green eyes staring back at me. Once upon a time I would have swooned over being this close to him. His breath on my neck. Trying to get out of his grasp I wiggled around. You know what's a good way to get someone to let go you. Jumping into the water.

Without thinking I pulled us both overboard, as we hit the surface his arms released letting me swim away. Breaking the surface I gasp for air.

"What was that for Eva!" Ryan wasn't happy. Probably because I ruined his precious hair. Oops.
"Well I thought you wanted a swim." Not really but it was close enough. With an innocent shrug I started swimming.
Soon everyone was in the water, we were splashing each other and having fun. Callie and Liam, like always, are  making out in the corner  while the rest of the boys are ganging up on me.
I was in the middle with all three of them attacking me from all sides. To busy focused on Spencer and Ryan I don't notice Josh swimming straight towards me. I felt arms go around me making me scream. Turning around, Josh smiled at me before swimming away. I'm tired as I swim back to the boat climbing aboard. That was fun.

Everyone's still in the water but I just sit wrapped in my towel. Smiling I get up and find some food getting it ready for dinner. As I'm finishing up everyone makes their way inside.
"What's cooking chef?" Callie's stomach growled as she asked me.
"Well I thought we could have ham sandwiches with a side of chips."
"Sounds perfect."

Bringing the food out we all sat on the deck. It is perfect, friends and food is all I need for a good time.
"You know I'm glad I came, I just wish we didn't have to go to school on Monday." This is the first nice thing Ryan has said all day.
"Aww you really do have a heart."
My brother always jokes that Ryan has no heart. Saying he's just got an empty hole where it heart should be. Now not that I'd ever tell him but I don't think Ryan is completely heartless. Just a little bit heartless.

We spent the next few hours talking about what ever we could think of. For the first time in a while I'm being care free and letting my self enjoy the time spent with my friends.
