Lucy set out for Hargeon with her keys, her whip, her two swords (Pictured Above) that was given to her by the celestial spirit king. It was so good that it could even cut through any other metal, and had the properties of both light and dark.
"Open gate of Canis Minor, Plue!" Lucy called out, and boarded the train with her little spirit.
It was a long, lonely ride. She missed Natsu's motion sickness, Happy's pestering, Erza eating and knocking Natsu out, but most of all, she missed the stripping ice make mage. "I wonder why I miss Gray so much? Well, I'll complete the job as soon as I can, and go back to him. Right, Plue?"
"Pun.... Pun....." meaning, yes!
She looked around Hargeon with wistful nostalgia, remembering that she had first met Natsu there. She brushed it off, and went directly to the mayor's mansion.
The butler opened the door, as she said,
"I'm Lucy Heartfilia, celestial mage of Fairy tail."
The butler nodded, and asked her to wait inside. The mayor came in anon. He looked at the young, beautiful girl skeptically but bowed and said, "Welcome, Ms. Heartfilia, I'm the mayor. Are you alone completing the quest?"
"Yes, I am. Please give me the location, sir."
"Before that, how many of the zodiac keys do you possess? Not to appear rude, I mentioned that the wizard should have at least two of them...."
Lucy smirked. "I have ten of them, all but Libra and Pisces."
The mayor's jaw dropped. "I apologise, my lady, I didn't expect someone like you to be the holder of such power."
Someone like me?
Never mind.
He then gave her the location, it wasn't very far away. Lucy decided to go there immediately.
"Open, Gate of the winged horse, Pegasus!"
(Lucy had acquired a dozen more silver keys)
The mayor watched in shock as Lucy mounted the winged horse and rushed towards the guild.
The guild was an old, derelict building, with a crumbling roof, and a dark atmosphere. She boldly opened the gates, and a man with an evil smile looked her her.
"What have we here?" He laughed, in sarcastic tones. "Little lady, do you want to have a fun time?"
Lucy looked fiercely at him, and shouted,
"Open, Gate of the maiden, Virgo!
Open, Gate of the lion, Leo!
Open, Gate of the archer, Sagittarius!
Stardress, Taurus!"
Her clothes changed to a long black and white checked dress, she had bull horns on top, and a large battle axe appeared in her hand. Lucy had trained with Taurus, and could wield the axe very well.
The other guild members were a bit taken aback, but their boss shouted, "Open, Gate of the Serpent, Tyranus!"
The Serpent was large, and it's fangs were highly poisonous. Any celestial wizard would know that it had been corrupted by utter darkness.
The Serpent headed straight for Virgo, who was fighting it bravely. Tyranus was one of the very few silver keys that could rival a gold key in power. Sagittarius was taking out a few of the weaker guild members, whereas Loke/Leo was dealing with the stronger ones. The boss used chain magic, and gun magic, so Lucy was having a really hard time. His chains rushed towards her, but she was able to fend it off with the axe. However, her strength was depleting so she turned back into her normal form. "Princess, are you ok?!" Virgo cried. "Yes, just finish your work."
Lucy summoned her twin blades, and they cut through his chains, so the boss used gun magic. One of them hit her badly in the leg, and she fell down immediately. The other grazed her shoulder bone. Lucy decided to use her last resort. "Open, Gate of the scorpion, Scorpio! Open, Gate of the twins, Gemini!"
"Buy me some time, Scorpio! Hurry. Gemini, help me cast Urano Metria."
Her strength was fast depleting, and she used her final spell.Survey the heavens,
Open the heavens
All the stars far and wide
Show me thy appearance
With such shine
O Tetrabiblos
I am the ruler of the stars
Aspect become complete
Of thy malevolent gaze
88 stars of heaven
Shine...
URANO METRIA!The place took over the appearance of outer space. The stars rained down in the guild, the Serpent subsided and returned to its original form, everyone lay unconscious. The spirits returned, and Lucy passed out.
She had just opened five zodiac gates, used stardress, and then used one of her strongest spells. Of course she fainted.
Loke came out with his own magic, and caressed his friend's cheek.
"Lucy, you were an idiot to do all this by yourself," he smiled tenderly, as he picked her up. But his expression hardened as he thought of her guild members. They will pay for hurting Lucy. He thought furiously. He went to the mayor's mansion, Lucy still in his arms. The mayor looked extremely concerned, and he asked, "Who are you? What about the mission?"
"I'm Leo, leader of the twelve zodiac gates. As for the mission, it is complete. I have called in the Magic council to take them into custody."
The mayor nodded, and gave the reward to Loke. "You and your friend have saved us all. Thank you."
Lucy awoke in her apartment... totally confused. "Uh.. how did I get here? Loke?!"
"You're finally awake, Lucy. You passed out after casting Urano Metria. The mayor doubled your reward, though. And the silver key has been subdued.
Lucy...." his tone changed, and became tender. "Why must you do such dangerous missions, when you can be so badly hurt?"
"I'm tired, Loke, of being called weak, incompetent, a disgrace.... I want to be strong. I'm so tired...." She started sobbing, and Leo hugged her tightly.
"Who defeated Sherry on Galuna island? Who defeated Angel in Oracion Seis? Who saved my life when I was about to disappear? Who stopped Aries from being tortured? Who used the infinity clock to help defeat the others in Neo Oracion Seis? And who can open five gates at once, use stardress, and then use Urano Metria? You're the strongest celestial wizard out there, Luce!"
Lucy hugged him back, and went on sobbing quietly.
Loke suddenly remembered something. "Oh, that Serpent wants to make a contract with you. Will you, Lucy?"
Lucy nodded. "Open, Gate of the Serpent, Tyranus!"
A fairly young man, with dark purple hair, and dark skin bowed down to her. "My lady, I humbly apologise for the trouble I caused. I hope you will allow me the chance to make it up to you," he said bowing even lower.
"Stop apologizing, Tyranus, it wasn't your fault. You were corrupted by their boss, right?"
"Yes, my lady, thank you for being so gracious. I hope I will be a useful tool in your hands."
Lucy said sternly, "Enough of the my lady thing, call me Lucy. Next, never bow to me, we are equals. Third, my spirits are not my tools, they are friends. You will hold the same place as any valued friend."
Tyranus gaped openly. He had never seen a celestial wizard who treated him as an equal. "Thank you, my.. uh, Lucy-sama."
Lucy sighed. He still had to add honorifics....
"Anyway, Tyranus... when can I call you?"
"Anytime you need, Lucy-sama, it will be my pleasure to serve you anytime. Now, if you will excuse me..."
"Of course, I'm very sorry I kept you so long. Take care, Tyranus."
He gaped again before closing his gate. Lucy was the total opposite of his former master.
Loke smiled at her, and took his leave.
